Best time to go to Sitges

Pack your swimwear if you visit Sitges in the summer time. Temperatures creep into the thirties in July and August, so it’s the ideal weather for flaking out on the beach. It can get pretty humid at this time, especially further inland away from the coast. If you like it slightly cooler, May, June and September are also great times to go. The thermometer stays around the late teens to mid-twenties mark, and if you go in June, you can tie it in with Sitges’ big Pride events.

Health & Safety

You should take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover you while you’re away. If you’re travelling to the EU and you apply for a card now, you'll get a new UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) instead of an EHIC. This entitles you to emergency medical treatment on the same terms as Spanish nationals. It won’t, however, cover you for medical repatriation, ongoing medical treatment or non-urgent treatment.
