Nice place shame about the riff raff
We booked this as a last minute get away £900 for 2 adults and 2 children, from what we had seen it looked nice and with a 4 star on trip advisor i thought carnt be that bad. We arrived on a bus that took about 90 min to get there and had about 20 family's checking in at the same time so there was a little wait we got told where to go and went to the apartment whitch was on the first floor ( not good with a puchchair) the room was very basic and in need of a update desperately, not sure why people say the balcony is big as its one of the smallest we have had, the room was far enough from the entertainment so we though we would get no noise and was almost next to the main pool and right next to the park so seem a good location That was untill after the entertainment finished at 10.30 and we retired to our room to put the kids to bed, where what i can only describe as 'chavs' on the park drinking cans of god knows what untill 2am while the kids ran all over the park, trying to get though to reception was impossible as they close at 11pm!! So could do nothing but wait for them to go to bed ( we even tried calling tui back in the UK to do somthing), the mattress where cheap £20 type ones aswell so when they did go to sleep you couldn't sleep because of this, the sofa beds for the kids where better, we did ask to be moved to be told later that day we couldn't as the rest of the complex has been shut down so had to put up with this for the whole week apart from the last night as there was only a few people left in the hotel. The all that could be sorted the hotel has the making of a really good hotel, the restaurant is ok quality and cheaper than most of the town ( whitch was mostly closed due to the time of the year) the beaches where 10 min either left or right, there store had most things you needed, the kids reps where brilliant, the hotel was clean and tidy so to where the pools although cold, it does not deserve the 4 star on trip advisor though about a 2 and if upgraded and sorted a 4 then only then. We would not return untill this has been done though.More
A week in the sun
Stayed here for a week in October. Check in went smoothly, very good reception staff. We were allocated a lovely apartment, near one of the pools. This had a big terrace and was fully equipped with the maids supplying towels etc every day. My friend and I are senior citizens and really thought that this resort was mainly for families with children as they catered for everything for them and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. We found there wasn't a lot of entertainment there for adults in the evenng and it was quite noisy at times. The restuarant was very good, a large choice on the menu reasonably priced and waiters were very pleasant and helpful. The apartments are situated on a main road about 15 mins walk to a small beach and to the one side there were places you could eat and a few pubs open. Opposite there is a large well equipped supermarket and a bus stop outside to nearby places etc. All in all I personally miss the terrace, sitting there reading a newspaper in the sun. Lovely staff throughout the complex, might visit again but there would have to be more entertainment there for me. Transfers in and out were good and a local tax payable when checking in, I think about 2 euros a day. Also a safe was provided in the apartment but one paid for it by the week. Thanks to all the staff at the resort.More

Couldn’t wait to come home
Booked a weeks holiday here for 2 adults 1 child and 1 infant - what a shame, waste of £1200!!!! After a 90 minute bus transfer, arrived at hotel, check in nice and simple, nice staff. Our apartment was in Block A, great location, away from the riff raff on a night. Unfortunately come 5:30 am everyday the bin lorry is working directly behind you!!! Apartment was mucky and dated. Thankfully I took some bleach spray so I could clean up. Take your own cleaning equipment!!!!! The sofa was minging and had to put towels on it to sit down. By day 3 I had been eaten my mosquitos- huge swellings which has never happened before. I had to sleep with my hoody tied tightly up. Bar restaurant serves tasty food, was probably the highlight of my day! My 1 year old couldn’t go in the pools. She came out blue they were so cold. My 6 year old picked up an ear infection from the water and still suffering 4 weeks on! The supermarket was good, priced fairly. End of season so resort was a ghost town. We would to Pirates cove everyday to dip our toes in sea. Nice area. Didn’t do bus trips but wish we had now. Lovely restaurant next door, had a gorgeous meal but that closed down mid week for the winter. Went to a disgusting restaurant up the strip...bloody rude and expensive. But they had WiFi! Tv in room was massively dated, could get a very very fuzzy itv. Wooden furniture vs tiles floor annoying when apartment above drags their chairs out!!!! I wouldn’t go back. More

Exceeded our expectations
We traveled as a couple 2nd week of October. On arrival there was a long queue to check in. I believe this is due to the fact that guests have to pay a local tourist tax and nobody knows how much until you get there. For us it was 14.40 euros or 1.10 euros per person per day. TUI should really tell you beforehand. First impressions were favourable well kept grounds clean looking apartments, very family/child friendly. Our first floor apartment was K8, far enough from the kids pools and entertainment for peace and quiet. The apartment was well equipped with a large private sun terrace with plenty of space for two sunbeds and a patio table. For those who cook, there was a microwave, separate mini-oven & hob, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer. We found the beds very comfortable and plenty of hot water for showering. Our main gripe was that the bed-linen was not changed during our week, although the towels were replaced on an almost daily basis. We only used the bar/restaurant once during our stay as the area is far too smokey. Fortunately there are plenty of local bars/restaurants where you can go that have adequate no smoking areas. Ciutadella is easy to walk to although the bus stops right outside. Its a very pleasant walk which took us 40 - 60 minutes each way (depending on the heat and our aches and pains). Well worth the visit. If you fancy a walk off the beaten track, head for the Green Zones nearby (Zona Verdi). Most lead you down wooded valleys which lead down to the sea and local beaches. There is one next to the chip shop which leads down to Cala 'N Brut and is very pretty. As already mentioned, a lot of places were closed or closing for the season but there seemed plenty of places open albeit with limited menus. I feel there is truly something there for everyone and well worth visiting. As for Talayot, it probably depends upon which apartment you are allocated, we struck lucky with K8. On that basis, we would definitely go there again.More
Very good for the price we paid
Just back from holidays and it’s a good place for cheap family holidays. Location is good, close to bars, restaurants, supermarket and beaches. Hotel by itself would need a bit of updating. It had everything you needed. Loads of places for kids to play. Rooms very basic but spacious and had everything you need. Was cleaned everyday, not great but towels were def changed :) The down side was animation team, I thought it was the same entertainment for kids every evening...would be nice to have some variation. This hotel is cheap to stay but you need to pay for every small thing extra while you there. Wifi-11euros for 1 device, cot- 17 euros and etc... Overall it was a good place to stay for the money we paid :)More
