This is a lovely hotel. The staff are so helpful and the restaurant food was excellent. The rooms were clean. opt for a pool view. Booked in 14th October and it was 25c at least every day.One day of rain.More
Place to relax also have fun
when here on the 14th October 2017 food was fabulous, room overlooking the pool we did pay extra for room 114 but was worth it entertainment was excellent the hotel is right next to the marina and a short walk to a nice little beach hired a car and toured the island so much history the only draw back was it was so late in the season everywhere was shut down apart from 1 local bar and a couple bars who served food I bet the place is fantastic during the season just not in October SHAMEMore
hotel valentin star calaa'n bosch
Stayed here early October, probably the best hotel we've ever stayed in. Our room was very clean and comfortable but could have done with more drawer space and looked out on a main road but there was hardly any traffic noise. Pool facing rooms were available at a supplement of 12 euros per night which we weren't prepared to pay. The pool area had far too many sunbeds, all cramped together but the Bar terrace had some of the most comfortable cane chairs we've ever seen. All the staff were really helpful and friendly, starting at the reception desk where we were given bottles of water and hot towels to freshen up and one evening we returned to our room to find a bottle of Cava to celebrate Valentin Hotels 50th anniversary. The evening entertainment, mainly tribute acts, was excellent, usually with two separate shows every night. The food was disappointing, breakfast was good but the evening meals were poor, food cold or lukewarm at the best with some very unusual combinations, e.g battered cauliflower and broccoli, and potato dishes were not always available. Cala'n Bosch is a quiet harbour town with mainly a few supermarkets and waterfront restaurants, but as it was near the end of the season not everything was open.More

Lovely relaxing stay
Booking this holiday at half term meant the resort and hotel was very quiet, shutting down at the end of the week! This suited us as we wanted a quiet week. Hotel was well positioned, very clean and staff friendly and obliging. Room overlooking pool was a good decision as I would'nt like an outside room during peak weeks. Food was very good and varied, not sure what some other reviewers had?? Bed was very comfy and we slept very well. Although the hotel was shutting down at the end of our stay the staff did not drop standards, restaurant staff good and cleaners hard at it. Had to pay for the use of a safe which we thought was poor considering the price payed for holiday and Star rating of hotel. Entertainment (solo singers) were very good, Stefan did his best with the quiz's and bingo but the lack of guests did'nt help ! The only thing we thought strange was the lack of a coffee after our evening meal. Coffee at breakfast, but not dinner? One guest said that was normal in hotelsl!! I dont know how well travelled they were but its a first for us! Sort walk to beaches and bays. Lots of alternative bars and restaurants around the Marina (not many open during our stay). Glad we looked at reviews before booking our hotel and we were not disapointed.More
Home from Home comforts
Loved it!. Very comfortable in both bedrooms and around the hotel. Bed was divine and huge. Everything in the room worked and the maid service was excellent. We had three junior suites all on the ground floor and all to a similar standard. Hotel staff were exemplary in every detail. Drink prices were on a par with other 4* hotels, yes they were cheaper around the marina but the service and measures were very good indeed. I would not hesitate in going back to this hotel.More
