Protur Aparthotel Vista Badia

Stayed in hotel from Sept. 15 to 25th 2018. The hotel itself was very good, facilities fine but was badly let down by the restaurant and evening bar service. Having stayed in a protur hotel the previous year where the food was outstanding I was expecting the same here but I was left very disappointed. The layout for food service is very poor and is like a cattle market if full. Food variety was poor with desserts virtually the same at lunch and dinner every day. Was pleased with the grill restaurant and found the asian nothing special. My gripe with the bars was nothing to do with the excellant staff but was one of perplexity whereby the indoor bar was never opened. The only bar open in the evening was the pool bar so if you wanted to be seated in the comfortable area you had a 50 metre walk to get your drinks where if the inside bar was open it was less than 10 metres away. Staff in this hotel were outstanding in their service and friendliness.

Party of six adults with three apartments from Oct. 6th 2019 - regular travellers. Nicest resort in Majorca. Really good holiday with no problems. All hotel staff pleasant and helpful, especially reception. Free use of wide range of bicycles a real bonus. If pressed on negatives I would say gym poorly equiped but that probably doesn't worry many on holiday. Could do with more spaces in Italian and Indian resturants. Happy to return.

We went from the 24th-31st October. We’d seen a lot of negative reviews of the hotel so I was quite worried as it was our first family holiday. The reviews I read couldn’t have been further from the truth! The hotel was spotless, inside and out! The staff were friendly and quick to help out. The hotel was closing for the winter 2 days after we left so it was quite quiet but the entertainment staff didn’t fail to impress or carry on! On the Tuesday before we left, they had the last mini disco of the season for the children and even though there was only 2 children left (1 who is ours) they still put in the same amount of effort that they had at the start of the week when there was so many more of them. They also provided a great amount of food throughout the day, as if they were catering in the summer rather than for the last few of us! We left before breakfast was served (8am) on the 31st however they provided us with a cold breakfast which was lovely of them. They also provided us with a picnic which had so much food for us when we went out for the day to visit Palma Aquarium. We loved going to the restaurants that you had to book for. The only negative for us is that even though the food was lovely and kept warm it wasn’t kept hot enough for us personally. If you wanted hot food, you would have to be there to get it immediately and eat straight away otherwise it would go cold quickly. We went on 3 trips, The Safari Zoo, Palma Aquarium and the Caves of Drach. All trips were great fun. We also went bike riding and played tennis which only needed deposits for which you got back. We did this with the Club House and had such a good time. Thank you for providing us with a great first holiday!
