Ricky Martin and Annie Lennox have stayed at this hotel, which has great sea views and is close to the town centre.
This hotel is in one of Majorca’s prettiest spots, surrounded by pine trees and overlooking clear waters. It even has its own private jetty. The centre of Puerto Pollensa is 15 minutes’ walk away.
There’s an attractive pool overlooking the sea, along with a smaller, indoor pool. There’s also a tennis court. For meals, meanwhile, you can choose from a buffet restaurant and an à la carte.

This was our eigth visit to Hotel Illa d'Or we have now got used to the modernisation and the dining room now is a great improvement. We have a wonderful eight days with perfect weathetr, Our only grips are lack of entertainment, in the old days there was entertainment every night and it was always held in the lounge, This year there was only entertainment on three nights and it was held in the dark on the beach side. We found dinner timings did not realy suit us ^ 30 being to early and 8 30 to late. Other than those two points we had a wonderful holiday, Location perfect, Staff great, room best we have ever had and other facilities first class.More
We visited from the 2nd September for a week
The 'Standard Twin Room' that we were offered by Jet2 and the Isla d'Or Hotel was not matched by the room in the attic on the day. A total case of mis-selling and a cynical hotel upgrade offer of 300 euros to provide a decent room. Sorted on the day by additional payment to avoid a ruination of a short holiday but, all claims now rejected by Jet2.More

Bar meal outside
Sitting right next to the sea enjoying a very pleasant bar snack and drinks in the late afternoon. Friendly staff. Varied menu and comfortable seating. Enjoyed the Spanish version of crostini! Only reservation was that it was a bit pricey but then it is on the Pine Walk. More
Not quite 5 star
This was our second visit in a year and the positives are the location and the dining facilities. The food and service were superb and we had no complaints. The outdoor bar area is well located to look across the bay however, on occasions , there was quite a delay in getting a drink - this is no reflection on the staff who work extremely hard. there are just not enough staff on duty. We were booked in for 10 days and our main gripe was the room we were allocated. I honestly do not think we have been in as small a room. When we were shown to the room the staff member immediately offered to store our suitcases, this set alarm bells ringing. I do understand that the hotel is very old and most rooms are restricted, however, when you have to use the small balcony for storing footware and suitcases that says it all. We came to the conclusion that while the hotel has many positives it is not worth the daily room rate. Stay clear of Room 132.More
We stayed for a week at this lovely hotel. The staff are friendly & make you feel welcome. Food is excellent with a great menu choice. Our room was spotless & spacious just a pity we had no balcony so found it hard to dry swimwear & the sunloungers were not very comfortable. Overall though we had a great time the location is great & the resort is fabulous, would definately go back.More
