Exagon Park

Our first package holiday in many years as we usually organise our own flights and accommodation. Pleasantly surprised with the facilities including the large poolside area and spacious grass area with over 400 sun beds ensuring you were always guaranteed a sun bed. 5 minutes walk to bars, restaurants, supermarket and the Friday weekly market. We chose the half board option and with 2 to 3 sea food choices every day we were well satisfied. Reception, cleaning and restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly. Only criticism was that on one occasion the hotel manager shouted criticism to some staff in front of hotel customers which I thought was very unprofessional

Don’t believe poor recent review on here, we’ve just been at the busiest time and had a good time, we arrived in the early hours by private transfer (was worth it, 45 mins)so check in was quick and we were offered refreshments in the dining room, found room to be lovely and clean and comfortable, balcony overlooking towards back of hotel was small had sun all afternoon but not comfortable to sit on the plastic chairs, so our first experience in the dining room was for breakfast and it’s very busy but the staff work so hard in there clearing tables, the food selection was excellent there’s everything you can imagine to eat for breakfast, which was why I was surprised with someone giving poor rating, the same in the evening lots of meat fish,vegetables, potatoes, soup salad, lovely bread, deserts were the only thing I didn’t try but they were enjoyed by the children and friends in our group, I enjoyed the cheese and crackers, next was the pool and gorgeous green space, hundreds of loungers, pool bar and snacks were fab, BUT there was lots of wasps near the bar self serve slush machine and that caused me a problem! We walked in to Can Picafort a lot,nice walk takes about 25 minutes and we used the train too, the beach was lovely, we were half board but we didn’t think the drinks were expensive to buy, but there’s a spar turn right and walk few mins down the street so we bought water and wine etc and put it in fridge in the room, we did safari jeep excursion was great, booked that from a place in the town, so to sum it up we enjoyed exagon Park, although it was peak time, we went in dining room about 8 am and it was great fairly quiet and later for evening meal about 8.30 pm and that seemed to work well for us, the staff are a credit to the hotel, I would like to return, but the wasps have scared me away, sorry just being truthful everyone else who was with me would do though, the private transfer was 94 euros for 8 of us, we got on the coach on the return it took 1 hr 30 mins it was 11pm pick up.
