What is says on the tin family resort
Just returned from a week spent at the flamingo plus side excellent room with sea view free wifi free safe air conditioning was better than we have experienced in Spain Negative was probably our fault in that we thought end of September there would be less families this was reflected in the restaurants noise wise we are grandparents ourselves but like some quiet timeMore
We have just returned from a weeks stay at Flamingo beach and had a lovely stay. We stayed all inclusive in a superior room that had all you could ask for from coffee machine, fridge to an iron and board. The room was spacious with plenty of wardrobe space, the bed was comfy. The food was excellent plenty of choice and always hot. There were plenty of drinks available from coffee, tea, soft drinks and wine and beer. The hotel is in a lovely area with the sea and beach only metres away.Although there were a lot of children here it was a fabulous holiday for us as a couple. The tui entertainers were excellent and worked so hard to make sure adults and children enjoyed themselves. We will definitely be back with all the family. Could not believe it was only rated 3 star!More
Recently returned from 10 nights with my husband and 14 month old. Positives: lovely beachfront location and spacious rooms. Our maid was lovely and some of the restaurant staff very friendly. However, far more negatives than I can list but to share a few; undercooked chicken, dirty plates, glasses with lipstick on, communal bins overflowing with nappies. High chairs often filthy. All three of us contracted a sickness bug whilst we were there and we heard many other guests with the same complaint. Not surprising with the apparent level of care at the complex. Also, hand foot and mouth disease at the resort which is posted on the hotels notice board ( no one bothered to tell us this prior or on arrival even though we were travelling with a young child). When we got home I took my daughter to our doctor as she is still unwell and they confirmed she has a viral infection on top of contracting hand, foot and mouth disease. Awful holiday, such a shame we were the unlucky ones.. very disappointed More
Brilliant Family Friendly Hotel
Pro's The rooms are spacious and kept exceptionally clean Khadija our maid was lovely & did a fab job. Staff- especially the Spanish staff are exceptionally friendly and go out of there way if you show them some common curtesy, sadly I witnessed some holidaymakers speak to them so disrespectfully... Saleh who waited on us was my little boys favourite always made a fuss of him. Location- beach is lovely and literally at your doorstep in the lower apartments- it was only a short walk to the shops and ferry port which was nice to get off resort. Food- best all inc food I have seen, lots of variety and something for everyone. Chefs all very friendly and go out of there way for you too. Cons- Cocktails- out of a machine just tasted like a heap of sugar in some water. Extras- some tui reps very keen to get you to see a doctor which seems to be cash orientated. A little girl who required 5 stitches due to a split in her head from and accident had to pay 320 euros for the treatment due to three visits. Sports bar- not signed or advertised, we only found out about it second week and would have been a nice alternative to the blue moon which was a bit hot and crazy. Sunbed wars- to get a sunbed at the main pool you have to be up early as there seems to be quite a territorial thing about the sunbeds going on at the main pool. We went to the other pool further down the resort which was lovely too. All in all I would love to go back there and have already been looking and recommended to friends. The staff there as previous really do help make the holiday keeping the site so clean and there friendliness to you if you make the effort to just be nice. More
Great for all the family
Great hotel, great food, great staff, especially Ben. Would definitely go back, if only the price was a bit more reasonable. This is the 1st time I have ever had sirloin steak as a choice at an all inclusive hotel. The rooms are a great size even with 4 in a room.More
