Talamanca Beach, Ibiza

Talamanca holidays land you in the Balearic Islands, with one of Ibiza’s biggest neighbours just down the road. Platinum-white sand beaches, upmarket coffee bars and a Mediterranean luxury restaurant scene will show you the calmer side to the island, and there’s more peace and quiet on Playa de Talamanca – the laidback main beach.

Beaches and restaurants in Talamanca

Talamaca’s white sandy sweep is one of the best in the Balearic Islands. A coastal boardwalk, luxury beach clubs and boutiques keep things nice and classy around this family-friendly beach, and smart Mediterranean bistros mean fine dining is on the cards post-swim. Japanese fusion cuisine is on the cards at the Nobu Restaurant Ibiza Bay (it’s just like the one in London, which is a firm fave among celebs).

Talamanca’s connection to Ibiza Town

Talamanca Bay’s east side rubs shoulders with narrow streets, where you’ll find teeny local eateries. The west, meanwhile, merges seamlessly with Ibiza Town – home to the world-famous Pacha nightclub, which shows you the island’s wild side. Ibiza’s superyacht marina, Marina Botafoc, is in this part, too. And you’re not far from premier casinos if you fancy trying your luck on the slot machines. Dressed up to take holiday snaps? Photo ops await along the promenade, which is backed by the Boas de Ibiza luxury apartment. They were designed by an award-winning architect, each flaunting rainbow-coloured balconies.

Daytrips to take from Talamanca

In Talamanca, coastal promenade strolls lead to Ibiza Town. Head there to roam around the UNESCO-listed old quarter, then plod along to the long beach of Playa d’en Bossa – it’s the biggest on the island. Or, if you’ve done enough steps for your liking, there’s a regular water taxi that ferries tourists over every 15 minutes. North coast Ibiza drives are a nice way to spend an afternoon, too. It’s just 30 minutes to Portinatx, a laidback town that used to be a fishing village, and Puerto San Miguel excursions are also pretty popular.
