Holidays to Talamanca take you to Ibiza Town's upmarket neighbour – think swish coffee bars and name-drop-worthy restaurants, fronted by a swathe of platinum-white sand.
Talamanca’s sweep of white sand is one of the best in the Balearic Islands – it comes with a relaxed atmosphere, a well-connected boardwalk and a fleet of beach clubs. It’s a classy affair around these parts, with one-off boutiques and smart bistros taking up the floor space. There are plenty of recognisable names peppered around, too. For starters, the beach is home to the Nobu Restaurant Ibiza Bay – sister to London’s slick Japanese fusion spot, which comes with countless celebrity seals of approval.
The bay comes bookended by two small town areas. To the east, there’s a web of slim-line streets dotted with local haunts, while the bustling west portion merges seamlessly with Ibiza Town. Here, you’ll find the world-famous Pacha nightclub, a superyacht-filled marina and the one of Ibiza's premier casinos. Stroll along the promenade for a unique photo opportunity – the luxury Boas de Ibiza apartments were designed by an award-winning architect, and are covered in rainbow-coloured balconies.
Ibiza Town’s just a short stroll along the promenade, which takes you past a pretty marina area. You’ll have a UNESCO-approved old quarter to explore, along with more modern frills. Continue on, and you’ll reach Playa d’en Bossa, home to the island’s longest beach. Alternatively, it’s a 30-minute drive to the north coast, where you’ll find laidback towns like Portinatx and Puerto San Miguel.
