Port des Torrent holidays
Jump to sections
Holidays to Port des Torrent take you to a relaxed place, but leave you close to lively San Antonio Town – and within easy reach of historical Ibiza Town.
A calming influence
This old port village on Ibiza’s west coast is the exact opposite of its fast-living neighbour, San Antonio Town, just five kilometres along the coast. Port des Torrent's a tranquil place, with days spent relaxing on the little sandy beach and evenings chilling out at a traditional taverna. And, of course, ‘San An’ is always on call for livelier bars and clubs.
A Blue Flag beach
A sheltered bay cradles the 150-metre sweep of sand, which is well kitted out with sunbeds and parasols. Its tucked-in setting means the water is warm, shallow and very paddle-friendly, though lifeguards are around to keep a watchful eye. And for drinks and snacks, you need look no further than the beach bars.
Sporting activities
Away from the beach, there are plenty of activities going on. The bigger hotels lay on golf and tennis, and there’s the opportunity to go on horse rides or hire bikes to tour the rugged Ibizan countryside. Meanwhile, adrenaline-seekers can stick to quad bikes and go-karts. It’s all available in and around town.
Daytrips to Ibiza Town
A 30-minute bus ride gets you to one of the Balearic Islands' cultural hotspots – Ibiza Town. The UNESCO-approved old town has cobbled streets leading up to a castle, with shops and restaurants to delve into on the way. There’s a 14th-century cathedral – which looks lovely lit up at night – and a yacht-filled marina that’s ringed by vibrant cafés and bars.
