Cala Pada holidays

Holidays to Cala Pada are all about taking things down a notch. There's a quiet, sandy beach edged with pines and restaurants, and a pretty coastal walk to Es Cana and Santa Eulalia.

Quiet beach resort

Cala Pada is a shy-and-quiet spot on Ibiza’s eastern edge. It’s named after its beach – a wide, horseshoe-shaped curve of sand backed by bottle-green pines. With only a handful of beach restaurants and cafés to its name, it’s worlds away from the loud-and-proud party towns that the Balearic Island's known for.

Sands

The beach is a popular pick for families, thanks to its soft sands and calm, reef-sheltered waters. Wander east along the coast and in five minutes you’ll be in S’Argamassa – equally peaceful, its beach is made up of a chain of secluded coves. Carry on for another 15 minutes and you’ll reach the powdery sands at Cala Martina.

What’s nearby

Santa Eulalia is a 5-minute bus ride away, and Es Cana is even closer. Both towns line up the full monty of shops and supermarkets, plus loads of bars and restaurants. You can walk to both along the coastal path, too – it’s about 45 minutes to Es Cana and an hour or so to Santa Eulalia.
