Abora Buenaventura

Just returned from a 7 night stay at Easter with the family and it was excellent. Massive complex which is about to be shut while they refurb it. I had read this before going and was wondering what it would be like. I didn't have to worry it was excellent. Service was superb - had a issue on first night and it was sorted within 1 hour. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed half board so had breakfast and lunch in the restaurant and they are excellent as well - lots of options and food was good too. Rooms were clean and tidy. Plenty of room in them and also everything was good in them. We had a room on the 7th floor (out of 8) and overlooked one of the 3 pool areas. It was quite noisy at night because we were put in a room over where the evening entertainment was and it was loud until late but that did not bother us too much. Entertainment team on site were brilliant - plenty of kids activities and adult ones as well. loads of space on site and amenities - hair salon, kids club and shop. Very good stay and very interested to see what it is like and it is renovated.

great all inclusive, many swimming pools,bars at pools, jacuzzi next to pools, shows every en=vning, games for small and big next to pools or in water, the only bad about hotel is that is a big hotel with many rooms, so to have sunbed you have to grab one before breakfast Visited October 2014

On arrival we where very happy with the hotel. The only issue we had is the walk to room was a distance, although we did have cases it was not an issue. The room was very clean but dark unless the curtains was open. The bed could of done with thicker pillows or more than one each. Breakfast was good with lots of options for everyone, dinner had less options but still good. There was something always gone on around the pool that was for both the adults and children. We read that the was a gym on site but unfortunately it was closed down when we got there which was a shame as it was one of the reasons I did choose this hotel, they did have tennis courts which where well kept although could of done with better rackets has the grips had been removed. Both pool areas where lovely and very well kept, the pool was chilly but refreshing as it was very warm.
