We stayed here for our honeymoon, the service was fabulous from the moment we walked through the door, the staff are superb, the hotel is clean and looks great. The choice of food and drink is brillant More
Not a bad hotel. I have been staying here now for 4 nights and cannot fault the staff who are very friendly and polite. The hotel is ok but very annoyed to find Cockroaches on the hotel complex for the past three nights especially for a so called 5 star hotel. Hope they get this sorted out as it starting to ruin my holiday. More
We had a week here in March 2017. Great food. Lots of choice and great quality. Relaxing spa. Worth paying the extra for a privilege room. We really liked the hotel design. It is very impressive inside. Have booked again for March 2018More
Not the shining star it could be
Just returned from a 2 week stay starting 26 September. Welcome glass of cava on arrival. and swiftly taken to room. Room was large, and we were given a beautiful view over the infinity pool. Glad I upgraded to a sea view room rather than a garden view. Bathroom has 2 sinks and an almost separate wc/bidet room. Shower over the bath. Bath is so low to get out of. Bathrobe, slippers and toiletries provided. TV has 9 English channels, but doesn't always receive the sound to UK programmes! Aircon wasn't working, but a visit to reception sorted that while we went for dinner. Lights in wardrobe, but one not working - they are very dark. Lots of pillows. Randomly given Lindor for a few days, with a knock on door offering towels and chocolates. Not sure why the need for towels od this service at all. Minibar is charged for, apart from water if you are on AI. Restaurant is very good, cava on offer at breakfast. Outdoor area full of smokers. Lunches are good in restaurant. Food on offer at family pool, but we never tried it. Dinner is hit and miss. Show your AI card to get your ticket signed for drinks, which becomes a pain after a few days. Drinks are branded spirits and generous measures if you want them. Bar staff are restaurant staff are great, cannot fault them. Pools - we only used the Infinity pool, and saw lifeguards removing towels left by people going to breakfast before 9.30. A laminated notice was left. On quieter days , some of the early guests got away with it. Sunbeds... these are awful. Dirty and broken. We kept asking for the broken ones to be removed. They were, but no replacements, Umbrellas are small and an awful quality. There is a lot of space but there is still the mentality of some guests to try and wedge extra beds in as they want a certain spot. Quite a few angry words spoken, and having to tell people to move their chair became annoying. German guests seem to think they can shove beds out the way by foot. The pool steps are too steep. The ladders need to be longer. The views are spectacular but there is no atmosphere round the infinity pool. Entertainment - not very good apart from the Queen tribute band. The disco isn't a disco. Its the show area, open plan with barmen and the occasional shouty animation person playing music not past 1.00am. The RIU Club down the road has a better nightclub and is only 4 star! Must try harder - one of the bands - Soul Brothers - were only half of the band we have seen elsewhere and were poor and unprepared. The hotel is not 5 star as it offers too many board options and has divided areas for premier guests who have paid a huge supplement to eat and relax away from other guests. Prices have increased rapidly - I enjoyed my holiday, but have had better in the area for less money.More
Enjoyed the holiday
Hotel was much as been expressed on other reviews .Very clean hotel cheerful staff and a good selection and variety of food. We did have one unfortunate experience with a very undercooked burger. Did not feel the waiter or the supervise in the restaurant took the complaint to seriously so took the burger to reception and saw the customer services . Did notice after that event that more care was being taken in checking the food was been correctly cooked They have some very large sunbeds which are a delight to rest on . Could have done with a waiter service in the pool and sunbed area to make it a truly relaxing experience perhaps something for management to consider . Together with a coffee / tea making option in the rooms Variety of shows in the evening some to our taste others did quite do it for us. We had a very enjoyable holiday and will be using the H10 hotels againMore
