Hotel H10 Salou Princess

We stayed here for 9 nights from start to finish was not impressed in fact the only thing we were happy with was the distance to beach and strip it started with the room we were looking into another room in another hotel. The food was terrible and cold and the staff rude and unhelpful and then to end it we asked to keep the room on and was told no, so I wouldn’t recommend or be back at this hotel.

The location of this hotel was great everything at hand .The room was small but clean no tea/coffee making facilities .two English chanels on tv. food wasnt great ok if you like veal or chips fish fingers for breakfast . Im sorry but i would not return to this hotel this is my first review ive written as i was very disappointed these are minor things that i think big company like H10 could be easily fixed .Also could to with a paint job balcony very grubby.As for entertainment we didnt stay in hotel at night but seemed to be waltzing most of the time sorry not for me yet .

This was our first trip to Salou & we enjoyed the hotel. We arrived on 3rd May, with our 7 month old baby, we wanted to go when the weather was cooler. Being the start of May, the weather was a bit changeable, although it warmed up come the end of the week. The season was just kicking off so some cafes and bars were just getting prepared to open. Key points - good big room, good travel cot provided by the hotel, lovely pool area, easy to walk to the beach, the main promenade and shops and bars, our room overlooked the pool and we had no noise, all the staff were helpful and friendly. We were HB & the breakfast and dinner were good. I always found something I liked and anything I ate tasted good & the salad selection was great. There were a number of nationalities staying at the hotel so I understand the need to cater for different tastes -but it would have been good to have had at least one chicken dish per night as i’m not fond of veal or rabbit which were served on a few nights. The entertainment was indoors at the start of May, we saw a few acts and the quality was good & the hotel had a good buzz to it at night - although I did feel for the poor acrobats who were trying to perform lifts under a lowered ceiling. Some of the acts we couldn’t see fully because of the pillars. One thing that I did find a bit silly was the cabanas - we go on 3/4 holidays abroad a year and i’ve never came across a hotel that charge for their use! They put reserved barriers around them & I think the poster in the lift said they were 25EUR a day. Needless to say they were empty the full week we were there & they were also in the shade most of the day -I thought that was a bit pretentious. When we were looking at hotels in salou it was one of the reasons I booked the hotel as I thought it might be good for sitting with our baby to keep her out of the sun.
