A great pool and buffet restaurant makes this place stand out from the crowd. Plus, the beach is just a stroll away.
The Belvedere comes with a big main pool. It scores highly on the food front, too, with a poolside snack bar and an international buffet restaurant. At night, the bar hosts bingo and live shows.
The centre of Salou is just a 10-minute walk down the road – you’ll find a sandy beach, and a host of shops, bars and restaurants. It’s the same time to PortAventura, Spain’s number one theme park.

The hotel is amazing! Such a lovely place, very clean. Staff really friendly could not do enough for us. Everything we asked for we got. The children's staff are amazing. Always playing games and been extra helpful. The name Reyna and Andere the best staff ever! They made our holiday always getting us up and involved. The hotel is a great location. Right near the beach and theme parks. Best hotel I have ever stayed in! Would 100% reccomend to anyone! More

First impression nice modern reception, bar and restaurant area but it stopped there ,First room we were given was disgusting,i always check the bedding and mattress out pulled back the sheets to find blood stained mattress protector and pulled that back to a very stained mattress ,wardrobe mirror covered in hand prints and the floor looked like it hadn't seen much of a brush or mop ,went straight back to reception and reported it the cleaning staff then met me back at the room and looked at me as if i was making a big thing of it ,refused to stay in the room asked for our money back because we had booked direct with the hotel to be told they had problems with the computer .The manager said he would sort another room out and to go to the bar and have a drink and something to eat without charge ,the second room was a little better ,but wasn't cleaned while we were there, the beds were made and towels changed ,i was covered in little red and very itchy bites which i got during the night and every night whilst in bed .The food was okish but wasn't hot and the plates were cold there was only one plate warmer working and that was only in a morning ,never stayed in the hotel always went to Villa Ramona where 15 members of my family were staying and down to the beach, we come every year to Salou for the WRC rally and always stay in Villa Ramona,we were booked to stay there but gave our room up for my son and his partner and child to stay because Villa Ramona was fully booked, we stayed at the Belvedere thinking because they are the same chain it would be ok how wrong was i and the Belvedere was more expensive .As other's have said the staff need to smile more, the lady on the restaurant was always happy and one of the waiters .More
not supposed to be here
arrived at the sister hotel we had booked (villa dorada) to be told they had a computer malfunction and were overbooked, they transferred us to the belvedere and I have to say they looked after us well Dinner had finished but they offered us picnic boxes which were much appreciated. the room was good - cannot complain about the food - and they upgraded us from half to full board and gave us wine and water package with our meals, hotel is more central and we felt we were better off as the pool was bigger, only disappointment was the entertainment, I was looking forward to exercise classes which did not materialise - not enough interest from other holidaymakers,More
Tired Hotel,Miserable Staff
The good points ,food ok,but always lukewarm, hence microwave was used a lot. The RACC rally great,on the seafront, got to meet winner Kris (GB) We had a lot of police staying at the hotel, which was assuring. Did the bike trip, good, a bit pricey for what you got, then they try and sell you wristband with photos at the end 20 euro? house of illusions really great nite Now Bad points, reception staff awkward from the start (unless you are spanish) took 3 days too change room as it smelt. Entertainment zero,we always went elsewhere. Cleaning , they missed our room 4 times during our stay having to get reception to sort it.SHEETS never changed during our two weeks, good job we are not sweaty people.,again reception did not sort it.told thomson rep and she said i wil have a word, she was a bit come day go day(thomson rep) we found more out asking at info in centre. The gym and sauna area needed a good clean grubby and mould everywhere. The staff on the whole were miserable, waitresses, reception, bar. Building work (drilling) was ongoing while we were there in adjacent hotel from 8am till late so reception laughed and said go use other hotel so we did. There were a lot of Jeremy kyle people spoiling it for the rest noise til 5am,I told reception and they smiled did nothing. Will we return NO,will go 4 star as this is 2/3 star.More
I had never been to Spain before and for my 40th birthday, I decided to go. I travelled with my Mum who has disabilities and we decided on the Belvedere, due to location and price. I was a little nervous about some of the reviews I had read but it was lovely. The room was clean and tidy, with two double beds that were comfy. We wanted extra pillows and we asked reception who happily sent some up to us straight away. The food was plentiful and although sometimes not always piping hot, it was tasty and there loads of choice. I especially loved the omelettes. My only criticism was you didn't a drink with dinner, not even water which would have been nice. The pool wasn't massive but was fine for the time of year, I can imagine it's bad to find a lounger in the high season. We loved the spa with a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi which was all free to use. The location is great, about 10 minutes into Salou town and the beach which was all on the flat so it's easy to walk. Portaventura Theme Park was a highlight and although we are not a big fan of rides, there was plenty to do and see and again about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Overall, I was pleased with our stay and would especially like to thank the staff on reception and Maijo in the restaurant, who was always polite, friendly and helpful More
