H10 Estepona Palace

Only stay here if you want a relaxing hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the typical over developed costas! Hotel slap bang on a private beach with lovely pool area as well. Hotel spotlessly clean and all staff very friendly and polite. Had a free upgrade to family suite with sea views with out requesting! Breakfast really good quality and good choice. The hotel is a little distance from the old town 2 miles but 5 mins in car or taxi. (Just factor that into your stay) but the views and tranquility of the place makes up for it! l really can’t see why this hotel gets anything less than a 4 or 5 star review. We returned a week ago from H10 Estepona Palace, and we had a nice time. The hotel is approx. 20 mins walk to the marina and the town, but cabs are readily available and there is also a bus if you want to venture out. The hotel is lovely and always very clean and tidy. The cleaning staff do a great job! Rooms are nice and spacious too. The animation team work very hard and are always super friendly and cheerful. There are activities in and around the pool all day long for those who want to join in. The drinks are internationally branded which is lovely for an All Inclusive, definitely something for everyone. Some of the bar staff could be a little surly, but were always polite. The star of the bar was Racquel, who always had a smile on her face and couldn’t do enough for you. We also had a drink on the chill out terrace and was a little surprised to find that they had exactly the same cocktail options as the main bar, but you had to pay for them! The main restaurant was a little canteen like, but this is usually true of All Inclusive holidays. The food was fairly varied and we always found something to eat. The pool bar served food at lunchtime, which was really nice with a good selection, although the paying guests definitely got served before the AI guests! A few people have mentioned that all of the sunbeds get reserved early, and this is true, but the lovely guys by the pool will always find you one if you ask them. The entertainment was generally some kind of musician, with the exception of a magic act and some acrobats. Again this was generally good and kept people entertained. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was the waterfalls by the pool. They were a real selling point for me as they looked very relaxing, but they were only on for about an hour a day sadly.

We booked our summer holiday here as we know the area quite well but fancied staying in a hotel in the area as we have always had an apartment in the past as we had young children and this suited us and our budget then. After looking at a number of hotels in the area but we chose this one. We were so glad we did as nothing disappointed and all the staff were so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the rooms were lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean. Because we had such a fantastic time we are returning next year.
