With an activity-filled pool scene, a kids’ club, and a setting close to a waterpark, the Mediterraneo Hotel has real family appeal.
This place strikes a balance between lively and peaceful, with a setting on the edge of Benidorm. It’s a 15-minute walk into town and a little further to Levante Beach, plus you’ve got Aqualandia waterpark nearby.
There’s plenty of elbow room at this hotel – a lot of which is dedicated to families. You can expect a huge pool area, a big children’s playground and spacious rooms with their own sofas and coffee tables.

Loved this hotel,
First time in Benidorm and we really enjoyed this hotel . The food was really nice and plenty choice we were all inclusive, the breakfasts were lovely and as with all the meals plenty choices . The cleaning ladies ar all very friendly and always busy . We needed a slip mat for our bath asked at reception and it was promptly delivered . Just a short walk takes you to many entertainment bars and pubs so excellent in them all . We will definitely return to this hotel More
Take a mouth guard.
1st time going to Benidorm 1st time staying at the Hotel Mediterreneo. Benidorm is canny if your after getting hammered but for a family holiday not so good. Now for the hotel! We got there for 11:30pm knackered & was greeted a man behind the desk who checked us in & asked us to come back in the morning for our all inclusive cards?, we had time to grab a sandwich from the food hall & up to the room. Room was canny bath room was very clean, 2 single beds pushed together to make it a double, 2 single beds for the kids. Tv mostly Spanish channel but we are in Spain & there’s a fridge too. Room has a radio which was nice to have on while getting ready. Safe deposit box in the room, can’t fault the room somewhere to put your head down & clean. So now I woke up or 7:30 to go down for a sun bed this is where I had a shock lol. I got to the lobby walked to the pool to be greeted by a line of people with towels in hand some piles of towels. A white & Red tape from one side to the other side of the pool blocked the people for getting to the pool & then after that there was a maze of ropes surrounding the pool & sun beds. There is also a security guard at the top of the pool with his iPhone out. Now the phone was because the sun beds opened @8am but the pool does not open till 10am which is stupid cos all the kids wanted to do was go straight into the pool. Back to the phone as soon as it hit 8am on the dot the security guards arm went down & then FREE FOR ALL!!! People choking them selfs on the tape leaving flip flops behind & sprinting for the beds lol I didn’t know this was going to happen so I was sanding back thinking there’s loads of bed. Wow so mouth guard my be needed!! I did get a bed btw 👍 Rules of the pool. No diving! No running! No pushing people in the pool! No large inflatables in the pool. No food or drinks around the pool there is a life guard but he spends his time talking to the girl from the shop! Oh yeah the shop which sells more stuff the kids want haha! Pool is nice & big there is a small kids pool 2foot deep. On a Tuesday there is a slide that’s set up 11am till 2pm it canny. If you hurt your self don’t ask the life guard he just says go to hospital haha I had to help a little girl who got her finger jammed in a vending machine? Oh didn’t I say there was 2 vending machines 1 with sweets 1 with water. So all was needed was some ice on her finger but he didn’t help at all. Now for the food, we ate out most nights Chinese was lush down the street & there’s a Iceland 5 mins up the street all English people working there too lol. Food was bland repetitive & under cooked. Not much for the kids to eat hotdogs, burgers left in it’s grease. The best part is the breakfast so stock up on that. We went back to the desk for our all inclusive cards we had our photos taking which was put on the cards so they couldn’t be used by another adult & it’s a keep sake but the rules 1 drink per card so 2 adult drinks 2 cards grrr. Bar staff are nice. The main bar in the lounge is open all day but the pool bar don’t open till 11am. When asking for water you get a cup not just given a bottles?? Which is very strange as we are all inclusive the guest were buying bottles for there rooms but ok. You have to pay for named spirits again supposedly all inclusive. Now we payed 3.5k for this holiday for 2 adults & 2 kids 9 & 3 & what do kids want? Ice creams, slushes & crisps?? Hotel had them all but you have to pay for them all!!! Which I was not happy about at all as we are all inclusive did I say that?. The entertainment staff there is 3 of them, a girl & men. The girl worked from 11 till about 4 going games with the kids 1 game was how far can you flick your flip flop all the games are really basic but the kids liked it she involved my 3 year old which she didn’t have to cos the kids club was for over 4s. There’s a game of water polo & basketball for the kids & for the adults. The night time entertainment was ok but again repetitive some things each week. Weather was really nice apart from 3 night where there was a big down par, all the entertainment is outside based too so when it rains you can PAY for the WiFi 1 code for 1 device more money! If not prepared to be bored cos there’s nothing to do in the hotel. So in all hotel is clean, food is crap, stretch before getting a sun-bed & take more money for the extras cos your all inclusive remember. We couldn’t get to the rep to complain because of all the guest complaining & I did speak to the owner of the hotel & he was having none of it “there has been no complaints” he said lol Hope this helps.More
Friends short break
Just arrived back from a short break at this hotel and can thoroughly recommend it. We went for a short break , four nights and had five full days there. We chose all inclusive and the food was excellent with a good variety for all tastes . Lots of Spanish dishes as well as the usual fayre for the less adventurous. Also snacks were served if you happened to miss breakfast, lunch or your evening meal. Snacks were served up,until midnight. My only criticism would be the ordering of drinks as you had a card and could only order one drink per card and no more than two cards so as a party of three two of us had to go to the bar each time ! The hotel was spotless and the rooms were spacious and cleaned every day . The biggest plus point of this hotel was the friendliness of the staff and willingness to help. The service was excellent and no queues in the restaurant. Plenty of sun beds around the pool area and the pool was a good size so you could swim up and down if you are choosing to exercise. There is also an indoor pool if the weather is too cold. It is a bit out of the way for the nightlife but if you like walking shouldn't be a problem but there are local bars within walking distance of the hotel with entertainment, music and tribute acts . Would definitely go to this hotel again.More

Just got back after spending a week all inclusive at the Hotel Mediterraneo Benidorm, the hotel is superb I cant fault it in anyway. The food is available from 8 am till 12midnight and there is a wide range to suit all tastes and is always red hot. The drinks are spot on, Amstell on draught and plenty of spirits and cocktails to choose from. The rooms are spotless and a fair size and cleaned daily. Entertainment is excellent and a good laugh also plenty to get involved in through the day with the animation team. The staff are friendly and always had a smile and work very hard. Overall a fantastic stay at this hotel already plan to book again for next May, would recommend this hotel to everyone from families to couples. You wont be disappointed.More
Nice hotel in a good location - quiet but only 15 min walk to the main strip and on a bus route too. Very clean & well maintained throughout. Bedrooms spacious with all that you need. A few English channels on the TV. Safe available in room but 17€ a week. No free wifi - inexcusable in a modern hotel! If you want it you have to buy vouchers (or use your phone as a hotspot). Pool area very nice with plenty of beds and every night a very hardworking member of staff cleaned it all down and straightened everything up. Dining room was a bit like school dinners. Food was decent enough but not exactly hot. Dining room staff not very friendly (unlike the other staff) and whipped your plate away while still chewing your last mouthful. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would return but I would eat out instead.More
