The Hotel Don Pancho is anchored one block from Levante Beach, with a clutch of bars, cafés and restaurants right outside. The centre of Benidorm is only 15 minutes’ walk away, too.
It’s not hard to see why this place bagged a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2016 – the staff get heaps of praise, there’s lots of entertainment, and its location puts bars, restaurants, and sands all on the doorstep.
The hotel was fully renovated in May 2016, so the rooms, pool and pool bar have a fresh look.

not my first time in benidorm but definatley one of the best, hotel don pancho is the best hotel in benidorm. right where you need to be and an absolute stunning hotel with fantastic rooms every one has a sea view the hotel staff are brilliant, I turned up for dinner the first night not knowing trousers were required, santiago the restraunt manager got me pair to wear no problem, the restraunt is fantastic with excellent food all piping hot, and something for everyone. I will definatley be staying in this hotel again sometime soonMore
Very enjoyable holiday
This is the best hotel to stay in Benidorm if you enjoy peaceful nights. It has the perfect balance of a great location to go out and about in the day and to catch the evening entertainment in many venues but when you get back to your room at the Don Pancho it’s lovely and quiet. We were on the top floor so that may have helped. We booked a superior room mainly so that we would have a kettle for morning coffees. The room was very nice with fabulous view to the sea but not that large so the standard rooms must be quite small. My only major disappointment was that the shower was not a walk-in but over the bath with a shower curtain, which is one of my pet hates. The staff throughout are excellent, especially at reception. The room was kept very clean with daily housekeeping. Food in the restaurant was good with plenty of choice, as we were half board you could choose to have lunch instead of dinner which was nice if we wanted a change in the evening. If we go again we’ll book direct and take advantage of the offers the hotel gives for doing so - arrival drink, bar discount, free safe etc. More
Having stayed in Benidorm many times at different hotels we decided to try the Don Pancho what a excellent choice. From arriving at reception which where very helpful to leaving a week later the hotel and staff where brilliant. The bedrooms are clean the beds are the best I've slept in any hotel and the rooms where of a good size. The food was if the highest standard all weekend, weather it was salads, hot or cold the choice was excellent and the waiting staff brilliant. Don't do sitting around the hotel pool but it look good. The only downside was the entertainment was poor not for me but the was excellent and will be going to the Din Pancho again.More
Disinterested reception Staff, small, cramped pool area
Myself and a friend decided to have a loom at this place with a view to staying here next year. We took a cab down at lunchtime and on asking the male receptionist if we could have a quick look round explaining that we would likely stay here next time, he said he didnt have time and we should come back later. there was only 2 people at the desk and there were two other staff dealing with them, so, it was clearly an i cannot be bothered syndrome. after stating we would not bother, he reluctantly changed his mind and agreed to let us see the pool area. This appeared to be quite small and many people were cramped together on sunbeds. he admitted that he thought this was a bit small for such a large hotel. we saw the prices of drinks and they seemed overly high for benidorm. All in all i was totally put off by the initial welcome and we will now not be staying here.More
Really enjoyed the Don Pancho
Had a really enjoyable week at the Don Pancho. First visit at this hotel. Great location, strip just behind hotel but never bothered by any noise. Food to suit most tastes, staff friendly and helpful though kept very busy. Sun beds very close together but always got beds. Was impressed to see attendant move belongings on saved sun beds, but not always consistent as other attendant didn't appear to move from blocked beds. Booked direct with hotel and received complimentary entry to Benidorm Palace including complimentary drink plus other benefits. Nice touch, the show was excellent even though we had seen some of it before. All staff very pleasant and helpful. I especially appreciated getting a mattress topper for dodgy hip. I emailed my request before travel and it was all done for me. Great service. Would definitely recommend and will surely visit the Don Pancho again. The only reason I give a four is because of the closeness of the sun beds, even though they have made good use of the available space.More
