Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa, a Royal Hideaway Hotel

The hotel and staff are amazing which has had us returning so often! The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained and the service is excellent. Cecila who checked us in was always available for any queries really stood out to us - she's great. The hotel is being run very well.

I visited with a friend in September and we were blown away from the moment we arrived. It's a good 40 minutes from the hotel and pricey by cab but on arrival this was all forgotten. We were checked in by the lovely Celia, who also directed us to our room and explained the whole resort to us. She was very helpful, friendly and approachable throughout the whole of our stay so huge thanks to her. She is an asset! The room was perfect for our needs (we received a room upgrade!) and I for one loved the turn down service in the evening with a chocolate! I found the room a bit chilly with no way of warming it up but this is only a tiny comment. All staff at the hotel greet you in the the relaxing style of the hotel. The breakfast was plentiful and always replenished quickly. The only thing I would comment on is the birds who would come in and on occasions tuck into some of the food and no one seemed to make an effort to remove them. The pool areas are truly superb, we were lucky to go at a fairly quiet time, with only the Saturday proving busy but all other days we had a huge choice of sun loungers and places to set up for the day. The grounds are simply breathtaking, I enjoyed going exploring and seemed to always come across something new, a new waterfall or pond area, all kept to exquisite standards. I also took advantage of the stretching classes, if I'd had more time I would have tried a lot more classes but sun worshipping by the pool took priority! I highly recommend the stretching class, Giselle (? Apologies if incorrect) Was great! We ate in the hotel for dinner just once, in Koh Sumai and the food and service were brilliant; we ate outside and soaked up the warm evening atmosphere. I truly hope to come back to this hidden paradise and recommend it to all!

Amazing hotel!! This is the best hotel Ive ever stayed in. The gardens and pool area are stunning. The service was good everywhere we went- drinks brought to our table all day when we were around the pool, with constant snacks. Every staff member greeted us with a smile. The concierge helped us make dinner reservations outside the hotel, and even helped us get to one of the restuarants through the gardens when we got a tad lost in the dark (a few cocktails down!) Koh Samui Italian restaurant is one of the best food Ive had in a long time- get the risotto and oxtail you won't regret it! We went end of September, out of high season so it seemed pretty quiet so had no problems getting a sunbed, which I read from some reviews can be an issue in peak season. We only stayed for 2 nights but wish it could've been longer!
