Jump to sections
Holidays to S'Argamassa show you Ibiza's softer side. Here you've got secluded beaches and chilled-out nightlife, as well as easy access to the big-name towns.
Ibiza’s little secret
The masses have yet to discover this new holiday destination on Ibiza’s east coast – so chances are you’ll have the sandy coves and small portfolio of bars and restaurants pretty much to yourself. Then just a couple of kilometres away, you’ve got bigger towns like Santa Eulalia and Es Cana, home of the island’s famous hippy market.
Sandy coves
The 50-metre beach is split into little coves, which are great for staking out a secluded spot, and a fringe of pine trees adds an extra touch of privacy. Swimmers can feel safe here, as the waters are shallow and there are lifeguards on duty. And the beach bars are perfect for lazy lunches with a sea view.
Natural beauty
The countryside around S’Argamassa offers plenty of natural beauty and Ibicencan heritage. Hike a few kilometres and you’ll discover Santa Eulalia’s 16th-century church, Puig de Missa, surrounded by knockout bay views. There’s also a river walk where you can pick figs from the trees and spot egrets and moorhens.
Near Ibiza Town
This chic capital gives you history and glamour in equal measure. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it comes with a castle, cathedral and ancient harbour. And Dalt Vila – the walled upper town – with its cobbled, winding streets, is a must-see. Meanwhile, the marina is where the world’s superyachts moor up in front of chic restaurants. You can be in Ibiza Town in 25 minutes.
