Salema holidays line up a Blue Flag beach – that comes complete with dinosaur footprints – a collection of seafood restaurants and a huge national park.
The first thing you’ll notice about Salema is its Blue Flag beach. Most of the village is pulled up to a half-mile-long strip of vanilla-coloured sand. The whole area’s nestled in a protected natural park, meaning that the water here’s as clean as it gets. During the day, you can flake out on a sunbed or give windsurfing a go. And in the evening, you can sit down for a meal of sea bass or octopus in one of Salema’s waterfront seafood restaurants.
