    The Pestana CR7 Funchal is the first hotel in a new partnership between Pestana and world-famous footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

    Combining Cristiano Ronaldo’s shirt number and initials, the Pestana CR7 Funchal is a new boutique hotel in the striker’s home city. It comes with views across the marina, and is only a couple of minutes’ walk from a cluster of bars and restaurants.

    You don’t have to be a football fan to stay here, but it helps. The colour scheme is inspired by Portugal’s deep red kit, and inside you’ll find framed Ronaldo shirts and caricatures of the superstar dotted across the walls. The hotel’s luxury CR7 Suite even comes equipped with a PlayStation 4, virtual reality glasses, and two 48-inch TVs.

    Great staff, amazing top end breakfast, pool is breathtaking day and night. No better location, walking distance from all of Funchal, Old City, Casino, Cable car etc. Onlt negative is large cruiseships coming into port at 5am. Great place to stay.

    Great hotel and great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay. Relaxed atmosphere and good position in Funchal. Spacious and comfortable room and very clean. Good food and great breakfast choices day by day. Definetely recommend a stay here! Definetely will visit again!

    The staff are very attentive and the location is so central. Easy walk to all the good restaurants in the old town. Modern decor, clean room and comfortable bed. Would definitely recommend to others looking for a central hotel with excellent customer service.

    Pestana Cr7 Funchal is an absolutely fantastic experience for all CR7 fans. The room was so comfortable and the pictures of Cristiano on the room were a lovely touch. I absolutely loved the pool and the views were stunning day and night! The food was delicious with a Portuguese custard tart at breakfast! Not forgetting the staff who were so helpful and welcoming! They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a dream! I was able to view the CR7 suite and get a signed ball from the man himself! Everything about the Pestana Cr7 experience was perfect and I am definitely going to return! I was so delighted to meet Nuno(Ronaldo's cousin) at the Musuem and hopefully next time I will be lucky enough to meet Hugo (Cristiano's brother) or Cristiano himself! I would 100% recommend to stay at Pestana Cr7!!

    Firstly the most amazing thing about this hotel is the staff.... they are all so helpful and always have a smile on their face. The location is fantastic close to all amenities and the facilities in the hotel are super, the pool area has stunning views and is really relaxing area the loungers are so comfortable not your standard loungers. The bedrooms are kept impeccably clean and the hotel overall is very quirky. The food was also yum, my son particularly loved the burgers. ❤️❤️Cant wait for return visit❤️❤️
