Best time to go to Lake Maggiore
Lake Maggiore enjoys a mild climate all year round, but most visitors come in May to September. Rainfall is at a peak in spring, but showers tend to be short. Temperatures climb steadily around this time so it might start to feel pretty balmy. Summer is the most popular time to visit, with highs around 30°C - helping warm the lake up to perfect paddling temperature. There’s also very little humidity around the lake, which is a definite plus. Early September sees the area start to cool again and the chances of quick bursts of rain are slightly higher.
