There’s a theme to our All Inclusive hotels in Zante — they’re on the large side, they’ve got great facilities, and they’re close to the beach. But that’s where the similarities end. Family Life Alykanas Village welcomes families with a splash park and entertainment that rolls out in to the nights. The Atlantica Eleon Grand Resort & Spa, on the other hand, is more adults-focussed, with a choice of infinity pools. There are plenty of three-star options, too, like the Hotel Roseland that sets up shop in central Kalamaki.

Zante racks up an impressive number of postcard-pretty sights.
Smuggler’s Cove is the big one — an idyllic scoop of cliff-framed sand that can only be reached by boat. And although the beach is eye-catching, it’s the shipwreck that takes centre stage. The caves and arches of the Blue Grotto is another must-see by the coast. For a dose of history, travel to the Temple of Artemis in the centre of the island. It’s surrounded by pine forests that — according to Ancient Greek myth — were the hunting grounds of the goddess herself.
