Beautiful hotel, everything new. Sea view of harbour is great. Location is ideal, several excellent restaurants within 5 minutes walk and town centre within walking distance if you are energetic. Most things you need to buy are available from Lindos Supermarket opposite the hotel. Helpful, friendly staff. Huge selection available for breakfast- most people will find something they can eat.
Book elsewhere if you are looking for a suite

We stayed at one of the suites.
Prons: Nice location, very good breakfast. Very friendly staff. Very clean room and hotel areas. Excellent view and balcony.
Cons:
1. The pictures (on booking.com) were misleading, so we thought that the Jacuzzi has sea view, however our jakuzzi was in the bathroom instead.
2. Very bad design. Frankly enough the suites were taken care by the owner himself. Super hot suite, even if it was Sept. We had to have the air-condition always on, which is annoying and not healthy - it's like being in the car on a sunny day.
3. Blinds were not closing firmly, so there was light in the room during the night and sun during the day. A strange curtain that blocks the sun was strangely enough in the middle of the room and not by the window, which makes the room's available space tiny and not convenient. It was super hot and sunny in the mornings (terrible).
3. No iron, no iron board, no toilet door to separate from the rest of the room. Open bathrooms are trendy, but open WCs NOT.
4. We were told that the mini bar is complimentary, but only canned beer and sodas were available. No liqueur, wine, etc.
5. No working desk or a comfortable table were you can use your laptop.
6. Only one luggage rack - where is the 2nd one supposed to be placed?
I recommend other more traditional hotels that use common sense.
10/10 for pretty much everything

We stayed here for 7 nights and were very pleasantly surprised. It is very clean, the maid came every day to replace dirty towels/bed linen. The breakfast contains everything you could ask for in a buffet breakfast. The pool area is certainly big enough and is covered in sunlight for the majority of the day. The location of the beach is excellent - 5 minute walk away from the beach, 5 mins from the harbour and 10 minutes from the old town. The staff were incredibly welcoming; glass of champagne on arrival was a nice touch.
On our day of departure we had to wait until late evening for our transfer and the hotel could not do enough for us in providing towels if we wanted to go to the beach or pool, or even have a shower!
Couldn't recommend this place enough, will be staying here again if we come back to Rhodes.
Absolutely spot on

Situated just a couple of hundred yards from the harbour the Rhodos Horizon City Hotel was the perfect base for our Rhodes holiday. We arrived in the very early hours of the morning to be met with glasses of wine and a rose for my wife. Booked in very quickly then up to our 2nd floor room. What a pleasant surprise just as advertised, large, airy, very clean (cleaned very day), plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space. Nice bathroom, super, powerful shower with two shower heads, lots of free toiletries. Twin beds which were very comfortable.
Importantly the staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful, nice people.
Great breakfast, cooked full english, cereals, plenty of cooked meat, cheeses, pastries and fresh fruit, in fact something for everyone.
Easy walk to the medieval part of the town and the Palace of the Grand Master, museums city walls and moat.
Numerous boat trips to surrounding islands and other parts of Rhodes available at the harbour.
Adequate beaches just a short, easy walk away.
Foodies dream, never seen so many restaurants close by, all options open.
Only dislike was not being able stay at this hotel longer but if and when we return to Rhodes this will be, without question, our hotel of choice
Absolutely Perfect!

This is such a great hotel and they deserve all the 5* reviews they’re receiving. My boyfriend and I, (19 and 20 years old)stayed here for a week and it really was fantastic. I couldn’t find any fault of the hotel itself. I will try to cover everything so that you get a view on everything!
Check-In
Checked in at about 2:30am and were still granted with a lovely welcoming by the man on reception. Check in was swift along with being given a glass of really tasty champagne on arrival and a red rose for me! A really lovely touch.
Room
We stayed in a standard, partial sea view room. It was perfect - very spacious, incredible clean and a very luxurious feel about it. The hotel is brand new and it really felt it! Everything so fresh and clean! We had a double bed which I feel was maybe a Super King size. It was so comfy along with a duvet and sheet so you can sleep under either / remove anything if you’re too warm. The room has an AC unit which was very easy to use. The only issue we had was the drippage from the AC onto the hard floor, I did slip but the maid the next morning noticed straight away and everyday left a clean bath mat down. I assume it was dripping because it was so hot we had it on nearly all the time and all through the night.
We were blessed with a huge mirror in the room above a large desk / dressing table and a plug right underneath! So many hotels fail to supply a plug by the mirror which makes hair-doing very difficult!
Bathroom
A lovely new shower with 2 different shower heads, very spacious! Lots of complimentary shampoo and condition is left too! Another large mirror with lovely lighting.
Breakfast
Wow! This must have been the highlight of the holiday!! I’ve never had a hotel breakfast quite so good. Breakfast is until 10:00am. I read reviews myself about the breakfast suiting everyone but they really do offer such a variety - the largest I have seen. On offer they have: English breakfast, pastries, about 6 different types of bread, fish (salmon, trout and mackerel), salad, all types of cheese and cold meats, homemade cookies (3 or 4 different types) and cakes, a huge variety of tea, coffee and juice, tropical and exotic fruit, 4 or 5 different yoghurts (fat free / less sugar etc on offer too), pancakes, waffles...I could go on!
Pool / Sun-loungers
BEWARE! I think the pool is extra chilled! It was freezing! But not a complaint in the 30 degree heat we experienced. The only complaint I had overall was actually of the other customers at the hotel for the start of my holiday (later on I think people left and new people joined who weren’t an issue). No one gets up at 6 to leave towels on the sunbeds and reserve them, although a couple of people do ruin that by doing this at 9:30. PLEASE NOTE: as this hotel is further into the city and in a much more built up area, the sun doesn’t come up over the pool until about 10:30am, and even then one side doesn’t get sun until about 12:30 so that probably explains the no reserving of sunbeds. But as I say, a couple of people did have to ruin this for us! We never had trouble finding 2 sunbeds together even when we went to the pool later at about 3pm apart from the last day which I think the hotel was much busier. The sunbeds are very cramped together, but we have to understand there is only so much space around the pool. There is always an parasol between 2 beds with a handy little table where you can keep drinks etc. (The bar will serve you to your sunbed).
Bar / Staff
The bar tends to be very quiet but there is always someone there to serve through the day for drinks at the pool. I can’t express enough how lovely the staff are at this hotel. At breakfast each morning I was greeted. The lovely man who runs the kitchen outside where the hot food is served really is so smiley and friendly. “Kalimera” every morning! There was also a lovely man who seems like he maybe managed the bar area (suit and tie, slightly older) who I wish I had the name of! Everyone in the hotel would say hello and do anything to help you! Even the maids! They all work so hard and are just so friendly.
We ate lunch at the hotel a couple of days too. The lunch / food menu is also very lovely.
Location
Again, this hotel is perfect for location too. A 2 minute walk into the new town, 5 minute walk from the beach and about a 15 minute walk into the old town (which is a must see, especially at night although not much life there)
We managed to get a bus to Lindos for the day too. €5.50 per person each way. The journey is about 1 hour 30 mins but it is so worth it!
I really couldn’t recommend this hotel more!
