This typically Greek hotel comes with a laid-back bar* and a quiet rural setting. And then there’s the sea view…
The Moonlight Hotel comes with first-rate sea views. It’s just a few steps from a sandy beach, with a café and restaurant on the doorstep. We don't take bookings for under 16s here, but children may be travelling with other companies.
The hotel has its own bar which does Continental breakfasts and evening cocktails. Elsewhere, there’s plenty of space for sunbathing in the grounds, and there’s a swimming pool you can use at the hotel across the road.

Again...Absolutely fab holiday! 🌅
Second visit to the Moonlight, fourth visit to Stalis.....love them both! Last year stayed in old room, this year stayed in a refurbished room which have been done to a lovely, modern standard. Kettle and hairdryer provided, loads of wardrobe space girls for all your stuff. Yep you have to pay for extras like air con, fridge and safe, but where don't you in Greece, please tell?!? This is a great family owned hotel. Maria is worth her weight in gold...I hope she's paid well because she seems to be Superwoman. I agree with another reviewer that she could do with an assistant, especially high season in order to maintain an acceptable standard of cleaning, this will ultimately preserve the condition of the new rooms. I do NOT agree with Caroline F who said this is one of the worst hotel ever...she needs to get out more! I've stayed in 18-30 allocate on arrival cockroach infested pits to 5* hotels, believe me her review doesn't reflect the true picture of the Moonlight! We were there at the same time...an Olympic Gold Medallist Complainer! The bar....well what can I say that everyone else hasn't already? Great place to chill, lovely cocktails, great atmosphere.....and those boys!! Take time to sit at the bar and chat to Simon, he's a right laugh, and my personal favourite that other gorgeous, handsome chap...I just want to put him in my suitcase and bring him home, but I'm sure customs wouldn't take kindly to me smuggling a dog into the Country...Rocky is the cutest, oh yes..and not forgetting Bojan 😅! I would definitely return to and recommend the Moonlight to anyone considering booking....it's great!More
Arrived home last Sunday after 2 weeks at the Moonlight Hotel. From start to finish we had the best time EVER. Bev & I had one of the new refub rooms which was brilliant, & had everything we needed. The room was cleaned every day by the lovely Maria who is the nicest lady. She also serves a lovely breakfast, which I have to admit we sometimes missed only because of my next big point to make. The bar, which is run by Simon & Bojan, 2 of the nicest brothers you could ever meet. We were in there every night, & got to know them very well, plus some locals, & George & his lovely mother & father who run the hotel. The atmosphere is so good there, before you know it, it's 2am, hence missing breakfast sometimes. There is a lovely pool in the hotel opposite with sunbeds, & the beach. All in all marks out of 10, I would give 100. I know I would go back anytime. More
Lovely friendly bar
Visited most nights and felt welcome straight away and the drinks were a reasonable price. And Rocky the adopted dog is very friendly. Recommend a visit. Can't say anything for the hotel as we only used the bar.More
This review is not for the hotel itself but for the bar at the front, absolutely brilliant bar, very relaxing and great tunes,Bojan and Simon do their utmost to enable you to enjoy your visit, lovely cocktails as well, keep it up lads, from the Brandy Alexander twins,😂😂More
After reading earlier reviews this place had a lot to live up to. We weren't disappointed. We had a refurbished room so cannot comment on the ones that weren't. It was clean comfy and quiet away from the road. Made welcome by George and well looked after by Maria (who is definitely in need of an assistant) Breakfast was typically Greek with a few extras of bacon and beans. Everyone staying was friendly and chatty and it soon became home from home. The bar was a great place to relax in the evening both before and after dinner. Simon and Boyan are very good at their job and were always happy to see you and made you very welcome, remembering your favourite tipple. The beach and pool opposite are very nice and friendly and yes you do have to pay. The donut man on the beach is a welcome site cos they are yummy. Had a great holiday and hoping to go back next year. I would agree with an early review who said that reception is rarely manned so if you have a problem it's not easy to tell them. Again after paying for air conditioning, safe and fridge next time we wouldn't bother with the safe as the fridge locks. Definitely looking forward to going back next year. More
