Odysseus

Actually visited this in July 2014,but cannot choose date from that long ago.I like it ,was in a calm area of Kavos with nice garden ,a bit old and worn but fine,good beds,overall a postive stay,i cannot think of more to say

The hotel and bar at the Odysseus was amazing 5* cannot thank the staff more,especially the man that worked days and the man who worked nights at the Odysseus bar and the lovely chef, tui sold us events which were cancelled due to out of season and im still waiting a refund and i was in kavos 20-27th of September and rang them on the 21st. But anyways Hotel room was big enough for me and my friend Clean and tidy with daily maid service However because of it being self catering you do need to provide your own toilet paper,which isnt a massive issue as they sell it at the in hotel shop The two lovely English receptionists were very helpful and chatty and friendly And all the staff were friendly and chatty at the Odysseus. Rooms were clean and all of the hotels outside and inside areas were all clean and tidy and the in hotel shop was small but sold essentials like toilet roll, shampoo and conditioner, crisps and snacks aswell as some alcoholic drinks Also just to mention weather was absolutely gorgeous 27 degrees every single day! The strip was very quiet as we went after the finishing party however most bars and clubs were closed so the ones which were open were busier, the drinks were insanely cheap 3 shots and 3 drinks for 5 euros, some even offered free drinks just to come inside The only negative was one of the nights we decided to visit the sister hotel (agnes) which has a small section of the beach for a drink and before purchasing a drink from bar.. the bar man insulted my friend I was with and could she she was physically upset by the horrible and nasty comment he made about her appearance and laughed that she walked off crying. So we didnt purchase a drink and left. Im unsure of the guys name but i think he was called spiros and had stubble. He didnt apologise just continued to make jokes and laugh at her in a very disturbing and horrible manner. So quick overview Odysseus hotel/bar 10/10 Main strip 7/10 very quiet Food at Odysseus 10/10 Staff at Odysseus 10***/10 Cleanliness at Odysseus 10/10 Agnes hotel from that experience 1/10 Although it was very quiet we still had a really really lovely week.
