You get a big pool and plenty of Greek charm at this place. It’s near the beach, too.
People keep returning to this family-run complex, which is in the kind of peaceful village where everybody knows each other. And it’s a 2-minute walk to sandy Arilas Beach.
The pool’s a classic rectangular shape, and good for lengths. It’s surrounded by gardens on 3 sides, and at one end there’s a pool bar. In the evenings, it’s the pool bar that hosts quizzes and bingo.

We've just returned from a very enjoyable week at Kaloudis Village apartments. We didn't reach our accommodation until 11pm and were very grateful that the shop had been kept open for us and that we were still able to buy a hot meal at the bar. Our studio apartment was at the back of the complex and overlooked the garden. It had plenty of storage space, a full size fridge, a kettle and all the crockery and cutlery that we needed. The TV was out of order and the bathroom was a little on the small side, especially the shower, but everything worked fine although the hot water sometimes took a long time to come through. We quite liked the "hard" mattresses and slept well despite the mosquitoes and the barking resident dogs. The apartment was very clean and the towels were changed on a regular basis. The staff were all very friendly. We could only access the free wi-fi in the bar area. It was a pity that we were unable to buy freshly baked rolls for breakfast from the shop and the only bakery was on the outskirts of the village up a hill. We would have liked to get around a bit more but the buses had stopped running in September. We booked excursions with Arillas Travel who were very friendly and helpful. We didn't book any trips with Thomsons because they were a lot more expensive. We particularly enjoyed the walk along the coastal path to San Stefanos and also to the picturesque village of Afionas in the opposite direction. We also did the Arillas trail but there wasn't really very much to see on this walk. We visited Mathraki on the passenger ferry boat from San Stefanos but again there wasn't much there. The area around Arillas is very hilly and all the walks are quite challenging so good footwear is required. I wish we'd had a little more energy to visit Porto Timoni on the far side of Afionas because we were told that it's absolutely beautiful there. Arillas has a large, sandy beach with clear water which is gently shelving. There are several tavernas but some of them had already closed for the season. Our favourite was the Gratsela fish restaurant. If you enjoy spending time relaxing by the pool or on the beach then October is a good time to visit but if you like seeing other places then I would recommend going no later than September when the buses are still running and more trips are available.More

Excellent resort and stay
Kaloudis Village apartments is a fairly well equipped apartments with a good mini oven and comfortable bed with balcony. The pool and bar area are excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. Supermarket on site On the downside TV not working and no hair dryer and no hot water in the mornings. Only one toilet roll provided perhaps would have expected more with maid service. But all in all good value for money. Do NOT use Thomson for excursions. Arillas travel is only 5 minutes walk away and provide friendly service at HALF price of Thomson. Makes you wonder where else Thomson ripping people off. Arillas is a brilliant resort with walks to Arionas and San Stefanos. Although end of season still sufficient tavernas open for us to eat at a different one each night over the week. You must go prepared for mozzies!!More
Nice place but ....
My friend and I stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment which was clean and spacious though possibly a bit tired. It would have been nice if there was comfy seating in there too. The tv wasn’t working but it didn’t matter really. The pool was lovely as was the sunbathing area. What really spoilt things for us was that we were billled for the Greek night in the bar which we didn’t go to as I was unwell. When we challenged Vassillis about it, he said he had to throw our ordered food away and we felt he was quite rude and intimidating so we paid up. A couple of days later we discovered another couple had in fact taken our place, so he did in fact get paid twice. So beware of Vassillis. We also didn’t realise that it was the last week of the season it was so VERY quiet everywhere. We wouldn’t go back. More
September visit to Kaloudis, Arillas with baby
We enjoyed our stay here. Our party occupied a studio and a 2 bed apartment both of which were fine and situated in pleasant grounds. The only niggle was the close proximity of the toilet and shower to each other. The breakfast and lunch we had at the restaurant by the pool were excellent and reasonably priced. All the staff were very friendly. We were pleased to find babies' nappies in the supermarket though we had brought sufficient not being sure about availabilty. The pool is excellent and we made good use of both sections of the pool and the various floating items available. The closeness of the sandy beach made the place ideal for families with small children. We travelled with Thomson and used their coach. The transfer from the airport on the way there was just over an hour and acceptable, BUT on the way back it was about 2 and a half hours without any chance of a toilet break and we were not warned about this by the rep. We would have arranged a taxi had we known.More
Very pleasant apartments
Just returned from two lovely weeks spent at this apartment complex..we had an upper floor room in block c with sea and garden views and a fairly small balcony which was perfectly adequate.. Our room was small but well set out so we had no problems there..the bathroom was a bit on the small side to say the least but we got used to it and managed OK. The apartments are in a lovely location just back from the beach and we used to turn right out of Kaloudis onto the North end of the beach which we think is the nicest part of the beach and used Dimitri's beds,he is very attentive and looks after you really well without being intrusive . The pool area at the apartments was quite pleasant and a nice range of food is provided at the pool bar which also has some themed nights if that's what you want. All things considered we had a great time here and in Arillas and will be returning same time next yearMore
