A village full of history

The charming, Medieval town of Samoëns has a rich history that dates back to 1167. Its name comes from the seven mountains that surround the town. Set in the heart of the Haute-Savoie, the historic village is lined with cobbled streets, a centuries-old church and an ancient fountain. And don’t miss the Gros Tilleul, a large lime tree that’s been part of the village for almost 600 years.

Peaks, paddles and paths

Samoëns is all about nature and outdoor action. With lush green landscapes and sunny skies, the options are endless, from hiking and biking to all kinds of watersports – there’s something for all ages and abilities.
