Alpine Charm

La Clusaz is a charming alpine village with cobbled streets, alpine peaks and a rich history dating back to the 13th century. It’s the perfect spot for outdoor lovers to hike, bike, or simply relax and take in the mountain air. The village is known for its reblochon cheese, produced by farms that have been around for generations. You'll find this gooey goodness in all sorts of dishes like tartiflette, fondue and raclette.

Soaking up village life

Spend your days hopping between open-air cafés and shops, picking up local treats as you go. Get some pics of the grey cobbled church tower and picture-postcard chalets as you wander. And don’t miss the weekly market in the central square, where stalls are stacked high with local produce, from cheese and honey to handmade crafts – ideal for souvenirs. For a truly relaxing afternoon, take a refreshing dip in the pool at Espace Aquatique, with panoramic views of the Aravis mountains and the sound of cow bells in the air.

Hiking, biking and horse riding

Feeling active? La Clusaz has it all – from paragliding and via ferrata to horse riding and tennis. It's also a popular cycling spot, with the Tour de France having passed through 38 times. So grab a seat and watch cyclists tackle Col des Aravis or Col de la Croix Fry over a leisurely lunch at a mountain restaurant. Or if you fancy trying it for yourself, jump on a bike or e-bike and ride the same route as the pros.
