A beachfront address and a great pool make this place a popular choice.
As the name suggests, this beachfront complex looks more like a mini village than a hotel. The sugarcube apartments are surrounded by landscaped gardens, with a big pool in the heart of it all.
The promenade – edged with shops, bars and restaurants – is just a short walk away. And you’re about a 10-minute walk from the famous Tombs of the Kings.

We have just returned from a week at the Kefalos Beach Village. Whilst the 1 bed apartment we had was a little dated it was immaculately clean and cleaned every day. The whole atmosphere around the "village" was friendly and relaxed - all the staff were great. The food was varied and plentiful - only half board so cant comment on the all inclusive option. The best part for us was being able to walk down the coast path to the Harbour or walk up the hill to the old town or just chill at the hotel on the beach. Never an issue finding a sun lounger and certainly no early morning putting out of towels needed! Great place to stay and will certainly return.More
Lovely place let down by staff
We spent 5 nights at the Kafalos. We had a lovely apartment, although it was right at the front of the hotel overlooking the car park (didn't pay for sea view so can't complain). On arrival, late and with a toddler, found apartment was 1st floor up 17 steps and the porter only carried 1 bag for us (2 women and toddler travelling and 3 suitcases). Bit of a struggle to get other 2 cases up and pushchair. Apartment lovely, separate bedroom from lounge/kitchenette meaning we didn't have to go to bed when the toddler did - blessing. Cleaning at first a bit questionable but did improve. Most disappointing experiences were at the pool bar. Dinner on day 2, after paying waiter did not return with my change (we were B&B). Turned out it was left on the bar I assume in the hope I would give up waiting and leave it however it was more than I was prepared to leave. Still left a tip. Second trip on last day after check out, questioned how we were paying. We advised cash. Had to order at the bar as no one came to take our order despite being the only ones inside - there may have been others outside waiting but do not recall any food orders come out other than ours. No one came to take plates so we could ask for the bill - had to go to the bar to pay. Barman was busy so I waited, and was the only person at the bar. 2 more people arrived, and he served both of them first. Not sure barman is the right job for you if you cannot remember the order of 3 people! Second barman arrived and still went to serve 3rd person who arrived. Then had the cheek to come over I assume to see if I had left a tip having taken all my change back to the table. He spoke to my toddler then walked away and when we said goodbye they did not even acknowledge us - I assume as I had not left a tip as pretty annoyed with this service. They seem happy to be polite if you are all inclusive collecting your drinks but not if you are on a lesser board. Breakfast staff friendly and helpful. Unsure if I would return due to pool bar staff.More
Just got back from a week in this resort, 6 friends who came back for a second visit . Not disappointed we had a great holiday, we arrived late evening our room not in best location so the following morning asked to move and within 10 minutes told we could move to a new room . Than to get a basket of fruit and a bottle of sparkling wine as a returning guest was a lovely surprise. . From then on we all had a relaxing holiday. The only issue we had was we booked Al a carte meal for the Saturday night, we asked if we could eat indoors as the wind was quite strong. Unfortunately we would have had to share location with the kids evening entertainment, not ideal at all, so didn't bother. We have read on here that the staff not very helpful, all I can say we did not experience this, no problems with anyone at all. We are looking at booking for next year for some late sun, hopefully see you soonMore

Wedding and holiday 💖
Well what can I say about this place. It's amazing. Me and my husband married here on the 29th September 2017 and it was just perfect. Elena couldn't do enough for us and helped with everything I wanted to make the day just how we wanted. We stayed for a 2 week holiday and the majority of our 36 guests stayed with us at the hotel and they all loved it. Did was lovely and a wide variety of food every night. We stayed in the 3 bedroom Villa with it's own swimming pool practically on the beach it was lovely and spacious and very very clean. Our guests rooms were also spacious and very clean. The sunsets are beyond words they are so beautiful I would 100% recommend the Kefalos for weddings and holiday I cannot put into words how amazing it actually was 💖More
