    The Okeanos bumps right up against a sandy beach, plus it’s just a few minutes’ walk from the old-world harbour and lively bars of Ayia Napa.

    Blue and white décor helps towards the seaside feel at the Okeanos, which has not long had a new lick of paint. Everything is modern, from the smart pool area, to the minimalist design of the superior bedrooms.

    TripAdvisor awarded this place with a Certificate of Excellence , thanks to its relaxed feel and first-class location. The long, sandy beach is only separated from the pool by a garden sun terrace.

    4th time in Ayia Napa but 1st time in Okeanos hotel.Very very nice hotel with frendly staff .is next to the beach with free sunbeds and umbrella. Room 113 seaview is very nice ( Eleni don't forget for next year ) Food are super . But the location and staff are best,fantastic. Thanks from Serbia clients

    We had a bit of a shock when we arrived to find that the bus had to drop us off 200 metres from the hotel as the access does not allow for large vehicles. Could be a bit of a struggle for some older people with large suitcases. However when you get there you find it is worth it. We had a room on the top floor overlooking the harbour which was lovely. I had sent an email asking if this was possible before we travelled and was delighted when we were given it. The room was very pleasant with good storage for clothes and a nice bedroom. Access was via two lifts which worked very well and we never had a long wait. The staff almost without exception were very friendly and efficient. The buffet area is a little cramped when several guests are trying to get food simultaneously but the quality was acceptable, some of it very good. In October the pool area starts to become shady after lunch but there are plenty of sunbeds. These however are not as good as the ones available on the beach which are fitted with thick mattresses and are solely for use by hotel guests. Entertainment was available two nights each week and started at commencement of dinner. The hotel had a dress code for men of long trousers at dinner which most guests ignored, and a ban on vests which one guests also ignored every night. After dinner the hotel became too quiet despite having a fair number of AI guests. Most nights there was no-one in the bar. The location of the hotel is excellent being in a quiet spot next to the beach but only a couple of minutes walk from the beautiful harbour and not much more to the lively parts of Ayia Napa. Many boat trips may be booked from locations around the harbour. It is easy to catch a bus to travel to Protaras or to Nissi Beach and Waterworld. The fair is only 1.50 euros each way. Overall we had a lovely holiday and met met several great couples although a large number of the guests were from Russia and other eastern European countries

    Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location! Amazing staff, too many to mention here, but they all know who they are! We only stayed bed and breakfast but there was a good choice to cater for all tastes. Dinner and evening meals looked good too. Plenty of sunbeds by the pool without needing to reserve them,and sunbeds on the beach for hotel guests free of charge. Our home away from home. Thank you everyone!
    A lovely hotel in a fabulous location

    We couldn't have picked a better location than this hotel. Right on the beach (if a bit too crowded for my liking!) and exactly opposite the lovely harbour. We had a sea view and could see all the boats coming and going. The hotel was lovely and clean with lovely staff, especially Angela, Eleni, Chef! and the Restaurant Manager going out of their way for all of us. The food was excellent every day and there were different dishes every day. On a personal level, I would have preferred fresh fruit salad, but there was fruit every day, you just had to cut most of it up yourself. The only bug bear was that by the afternoon you had to go on the hunt for a waiter to get a drink as we were all inclusive, but some customers were half board. Also, I know someone else has mentioned this, but there wasn't any shelving in the bathroom, so you had to put all your toiletries around the sink. On the whole a thoroughly lovely, clean hotel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

    Stayed here from 30/09 - 10/10 in a superior room on an all inclusive basis. Room was light and airy with a very good air con - which we needed as the weather was still in the early 30's the whole time - Reception staff were very polite and helpful especially when we found out easy Jet had not confirmed our accommodation with them. Reception told us to relax and let them sort it out. Which they did the same day. Food was great with a varied choice and the chef and his team were always in the restaurant asking for opinions. Shows they take pride in their work. The small team of staff share the bar and the waiting and most of them were warm and friendly and really made us feel comfortable. Only slight issue with the all inclusive option was the bar did not open until 11.00 am .. Any drinks before this time had to be paid for and likewise after 11pm. It was quite expensive. Pool area is very clean but the sun was no where to be seen after 3.30pm so if you want the sun later in the day you would have to walk the 30 steps to the beach. Beach was very busy with locals but was about 3/4 of a mile long which helped to walk off the extensive breakfast. Hotel is right on the door step of the harbour and a fantastic location for everything in Ayia Napa. Overall a fantastic Hotel with fantastic staff in a fantastic location which all added up to a great holiday. I cant thank the Okeanos beach staff enough and will be returning next year to check out the renovation.
