Cannot fault - 4th visit
Having a lovely relaxing time again. Leaving here on Sunday. Plenty to do, boat trips, coach trips, Red Bus trips, Ayia Napa within walking distance, or get the bus for €1.50. Same amount to Protaras. Manager interacts with guests, which is lovely. Seen lots of 'returners' like us. We would recommend here to anyone. We bought my Mom back here this time. A few of us stayed in 2012 when my daughter got married at the hotel. That's how we got to know this beautiful place. Good choice of food. We are half board, buffet style for both the morning and evening. Waiter service for drinks. Love all the staff here. Not seen much of George (receptionist) lately. Sorry, but he us our favourite one...although all are good. 4th visit this year. Unfortunately unable to come next year, as we are doing something different. Will miss it for definite.More
Best ever ! Holiday in Luxus !
14 days at this Hotel was an excellent experience ! All the staff were great. The food was good, with The Deck as the best ! Your own private sun beds, with a waiter named Panayiotis, which showed us what supurb service is. The pool and the beach only 20 meters from the sun bed. It was heaven. We WILL be back !! Thank you ALL for your hospitality.More
Fantastic Hotel. Food - Wow!
My Husband and I have travelled extensively within Europe and we both agree the Alion Beach hotel is the best we've stayed in. The service is amazing from all the staff. As the hotel has only 100 bedrooms the staff genuinely recognise you and are keen to provide an amazing customer experience. From the welcome we received from Kyriacous on reception when arriving late in the evening, the help he provided along with the wonderful Natasha throughout our holiday, the housekeeping staff, always full of smiles, the staff in the restaurants Kalimera and Symposium, the bar staff to the pool staff. All couldn't do enough to make each guests stay memorable. The breakfast is superb and I would definitely recommend booking half board as the evening meal in The Symposium restaurant was the best food we've ever had (and we eat out a lot). Amazing selections, presented beautifully and most of all tasted fantastic. Many thanks to the Chefs who must have worked so hard to produce the meals. Thank you to Giorgios in the restaurant for his great service. Most people chose to eat outside but we preferred inside the restaurant due to the very warm Cyprus temperatures. Allocated sunbeds is a fantastic idea. Removes the daily sunbed scrum. The beach is lovely, just a few steps from our sunbeds and we were on the sand. Nice touch that the staff bring cool flannels, melon and ice lollies to those sunbathing. We had a room with a park view as all the sea view rooms had been taken when we booked. It was a blessing as our room was cool when we returned in the afternoon and we could sit out on the balcony as the sun wasn't on it. This really wasn't a problem as it was so hot and it was a relief to be in the shade. Guest rooms are lovely. Very spacious, clean and nice refurbished bathrooms. We had a hire car and the underground car park was excellent. We could always find a space and the car was kept out of the sun. We enjoyed exploring Cyprus, especially Nicosia. I strongly recommend the Ayia Napa Sculpture Park which is just up the road a short walk away. Some amazing pieces of art work there in a lovely setting. This was the first time we have stayed at the Alion Beach Hotel, and it won't be our last. Fittingly, Kyriacous bid us a fond farewell on leaving, helping us to our car. Thank you to all the staff at the Alion Beach for an amazing holiday.More
Just came back from a wonderful stay at this hotel. It did not get off to a great start as when we arrived were disappointedly shipped to another hotel as they had over booked. So had to commence our holiday on the next day. as the other hotel was not up to the standard of the ALION Hotel. It was fair to say that the team recompensed us for this mishap without any persuasion. The staff on the night when we arrived were first class and this was our experience for the next 7 days at the Alion, needless to say we will be returning. More
Lovely hotel with pleasant and attentive staff
We were on island for a wedding and choose the Alion for our stay. The hotel is lovely, very clean and well presented with a lot of space to relax. The pool area was beautiful with table service provided to the pool and beach beds by means of a button - a fantastic idea. The staff are great, always friendly and helpful. Towels and bathrobes smell wonderful and are fluffy and the complimentary toiletries are great. Only three small things could have made the stay better. Park view rooms were all that were available and whilst well presented, the advertised "tranquil park view" was actually out onto a main road with scooters and buses going past into the early hours. This should be stated at the time of booking. €1 for table football and pool, €10 for bike hire - this made the place feel a little bit cheaper than it was. Activity timing - yoga and aqua fit would be much better late afternoon or early evening to avoid conflicting with breakfast. Overall a great place with fantastic staff just needing a few small tweaks to make it amazing.More
