Three swimming pools and a setting right in the heart of Ayia Napa make the Senator a great base for chilling and clubbing.
Staying here puts you right by Ayia Napa’s action. The nearest bars are only a couple of minutes’ walk away, and ‘The Square’ isn’t much further on. A five-minute taxi ride will get you to Nissi Beach.
The hotel’s interiors are pretty smart. Rooms are simple, but stylish, with tiled floors and wicker seats. The latter are arranged around the bars and restaurants, as well.

Stayed in this hotel twice, great place, friendly and helpful staff, good location! Shout out to Nikola from the bar (although she's left now). The food that the bar sells most of the day is brilliant. The only complaint I would have is that one of the cleaning staff let a complete stranger into our room as i had to fill out some paperwork. Even though it was important a stranger (who did not work for the hotel) should have never ben let in to our room. Aside from that incident I can't fault the place. Made many friends.More
Wow what a gem of a place
Me and my family consisting of 3 kids 14.11.2 have just returned from the most wonderful 2 weeks away at the Senator apartments. I know this hotel is a party haven in the height of summer, but out of season it’s a wonderful family hotel. We spent most of our time around the 2nd pool being looked after superbly by Paul .. what a credit to this hotel this amazing lad is(deserves a pay rise next year management) 😀 the Reception staff are mostly very friendly and can’t do enough to help.. we stayed in a 2 bed apartment and were very impressed by the level of cleanliness .. this was our first time in Cyprus and due to the great time at Senator it won’t be our last 😍😍More
Great location, decent hotel rooms
Only negative feedback it that we had no towels in the room for one day so make sure the maids leave towels each day But overall the stay was great. The staff were friendly and the hotel has a luggage room which made it very convenient as our flight was late.More

Could be great
Firstly the receptionists and the BBQ are marvellous. After that I question. We were given a room overlooking back road, junction very noisy so asked to be moved especially when the pub underneath the room had music playing until 4am!!! In our two week stay they missed cleaning our room FOUR times. The plughole in the bath had loads of hair from previous occupants, the balcony had a big gnat type insect on and despite being swept after we complained was still there when we left. The balcony table was so dirty and not cleaned until we said. Hair was found in the bedroom which was not from us, wrong colour. The rooms are fully equipped if you want to self cater and the whole property could be very good. The attitude of the head of the cleaning staff was very ignorant and very rude. Music from the bar at pool was very loud. No peace around the pools. It is quite a walk to Nissi beach took us 50 minutes and the beach by the harbour 40 minutes, For older customers a complimemtary bus might be a good idea. Also figure air conditioning into the price of the stay not expect people to pay 6euros per day extra. We enjoyed our time in Aiya Napa but would never stay here again.More
We loved it !!!
Having had to cancel our regular high Summer holiday due to ill health we chose Cyprus later in the Season due mainly to it's great weather forecast for the first 2 weeks of October. After scrolling and pondering through the seemingly endless list of accommodations available we settled on the Senator mainly due to it's great reviews on here and we were not dissapointed. Arriving in the small hours check-in was smooth and quick and we were fortunate enough to have the lovely T.U.I. rep "Bex" get off our transfer coach with us at the same time. She helped us with our bags and pointed the direction to the 24 hour supermarket a little way down the road, great start to pick up water and a few beers. In the morning we opted for the self service breakfast in the hotel at a modest cost of 7.5 euros for all you can eat with both hot and cold foods available. We spent most of our days at the hotel around pool number two (there are three available) where Paul was a great barman providing excellent service throughout the day. We had no issues at all with our room which was well stocked with everything you needed for a full self catering holiday including a combination microwave, grill, and oven which was great for pizza's bought from the well stocked supermarket adjacent to the hotel which was open from 7-30a.m. right through until midnight. We ate several times at the hotel getting great service off Petra that we later realised was barman Paul's girlfriend a lovely couple indeed from the Czeck republic. All the staff indeed were lovely especially Siobhan and here crazy other half Nickos who was a real character. Standards of cleanliness and maintainance around the hotel were faultless with plenty of clean towels and bedding during our two week stay. On the last day of our holiday I was unwell and with a late night flight our room was unavailable for a later check out. The reception staff were very understanding of this and provided us with an alternative room to use for just 18 euros extra including air conditioning. All in all we had a great stay at the Senator Hotel and would'nt hesitate to stay here again and would certainly recommend this fine little establishment to others, thankyou Senator for a great stay !!More
