The TUI Family Life Nevis Resort is set to make its grand debut in 2017, with a splash zone, a spa and big, family-sized suites.
This place is well-placed for views out to the Black Sea. Resort-wise, it’s sandwiched between Sunny Beach and St Vlas, so you’ve got your pick of sandy beaches. Speaking of which, the closest is just 10 minutes’ stroll away.
As the property’s new for 2017, you can expect everything to be in pristine condition. And there’ll be extra family-friendly touches, like spacious rooms and suites for up to six people.

Not worth it
2x 27 year old girls stayed here for 4 nights, all inclusive. Rooms - the room was more than spacious for two people. Beds were comfortable and extra bedding provided if needed. Pretty standard shower and bath but not horrific, definitely had better though. Free safe within the room. Balcony was lovely but the seats were the cheap, plastic kind which was not awfully comfortable or relaxing I have to say. Pools - there are 4 outside pools, slides and an indoor pool. The pools are freezing this time of year but are well laid out. Plenty of sun beds. Food & drink - food was pretty standard. Very repetitive and as we were only staying 4 nights attempted to book the on-site restaurants and couldn't even get booked in! It was my birthday whilst we were there too and other hotels have always offered me a cake or free bottle of Prosecco. I received not even a happy birthday which was pretty disappointing I have to admit. Food appeared to be cooked well but the quality of meats was questionable. I'm fairly well travelled and have had much better all inclusive food. Drink again was standard, cocktails were rather watery. Wine, cheap, as expected. Cleanliness - the hotel was so clean! Rooms cleaned everyday and the cleaning team were so polite and friendly! Would rate 10/10 for cleanliness. Area - the area is located about a 15 minute walk from the beach, the whole resort is built around hills and down to the beach/town is all downhill so obviously uphill on the way back so just take note if your not a keen walker. Staff - to be honest this is one of the first hotels I've stayed at and literally had little to no involvement with the staff. Found no staff offered to top up your drink, say hello, good morning, it's really the little things and even when asking main reception key questions they could be quite rude and appeared to not care about the guests and would rather spend time on their mobile phones. Didn't see the thomson rep once all holiday. Customer service was diabolical really. Spa - the spa was lovely! And reasonably priced. The treatments were very good and we left feeling relaxed and like we had gotten good value for our money. Entertainment - the entertainment was very good for families. I feel this hotel is massively catered to families with small children and as we were two 20 something girls we were not seen as important or necessary to spend time on, if your looking for a family holiday - great. But if your wanting some relax time and some adult entertainment, wouldn't recommend at all. Wouldn't return personally. More
Brilliant For Young Families
Myself, Partner and 2 year old son have just returned from an amazing 7 night holiday here in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria. It was amazing due in part to this wonderful hotel. To start with don't be put off by some of the other lower star reviews. I can safely say that any issues raised on those reviews have now been acted upon and the hotel is definetly now up to the standards you would come to expect from a TUI Family Life Hotel. I have decided to review this hotel in a pros and cons style so as to make it easier to read: Pros: .The Rooms are furnished beautifully and to a modern standard which you would expect from a high end 4 star hotel. They were cleaned daily and I feel that the cleaners should be commended for keeping the rooms spotlessly clean during our stay. .The public areas around the hotel are a pleasure to be in all of which are very clean and decorated in a style similiar to that of the rooms, very modern! .The Food in the main restaurant is delicious with a good amount of variety and enough to choice to feed even the fussiest of people. The Green And Grill Restaurant is a must try if its available! .The Reps really do put the effort in and should be commended for thier enthusiasm and energy which they bring to the hotel. .The Spa is a must do with a very reasonable priced full programme. They will also let you take your kids into the Turkish Baths which was a real treat for our little boy. .The children's entertainment run in the early evening featuring the reps was a real highlight for our little boy who loved The Bamse shows! .WI-FI worked at all times in the rooms and nearly all of the time in the public areas of the hotel so trying to get a signal was no problem at all. Cons: .The pools are exceedingly cold even when the days temperatures are over 25 Degrees. Never felt water so cold in all my life. .The Bulgarian members of staff are particularly miserable. I put this down mainly to the language barrier but in some cases the bar staff can even seem a little bit rude when dealing with guests. The lifeguards on duty also pay no notice to guests in the pool which seems dangerous and I hope that the hotel management takes action on this issue ASAP! .Entertainment for the adults was a bit hit and miss but the bars of Sunny Beach are only a 15 minute stroll away down on the Promenade. All in all we had a marvellous holiday here at the Family Life Nevis Resort and we would definetly stay here again if we ever chose to return to Sunny Beach, Bulgaria!More
Kitty Club goes to Bulgaria
Seems to be a new hotel which is up a hill and the hotel itself is quite hilly something to be aware of if there are mobility difficulties. The hotel is great and everything we thought it would be, bright, clean friendly staff and a restaurant that is excellent for all meals. I would have given it a 5 but on the day of our departure we returned to our room only to find that our key card had been deactivated. We are seasoned travellers and this was the first time a card was deactivated. The cleaner let us in but we had no electricity so a shower was out of the question and I had to use the torch on my iPhone to use the bathroom. Not good enough and the cleaner didn't know who we were, we could have been anyone that she let into the roomMore
Staff rude and unhelpful PLUS room smelt of damp
After arriving at the hotel and receiving our key it was up to us to find our room and way around this rather large hotel, no mention of Wi-fi was given either. Upon opening the door of the room the damp smell hit us in the face, we couldn't find out where it was coming from yet after complaining 3 days in a row with no feedback from reception or Thomson we decided to put up and shut up. Staff were rude and miserable, everyone from the receptionists to the bar staff they couldn't raise a smile between them...hold on...the cleaners did actually smile at us and on a positive note they made a great job of keeping the rooms/hotel clean. The lift in our block did not have a sensor and when closing quite rapidly closed on my arm and was left with a bruise...would hate to think what would have happened if a small child got trapped in the lift jaws! The drinks in the restaurant and bars were pretty awful and got worse towards the end of the one week holiday. Was nice enjoying a G&T at the start then do not know what changed, but they became pretty dreadful and don't even get me started on the wine! yuck! You are allowed to make a reservation at one of the restaurants for one dinner per holiday. We tried on our second day and was told one of them was fully booked for our entire stay and the other restaurant only had availability on our last night...we walked past a couple of times, never once was it anywhere near full, so that was a pack of lies! They don't tell you at reception or online that you should book ahead. We didn't bother going in the end. If retiring to the 'Relax' bar after dinner do not expect any atmosphere/music/happy staff, etc. it just isn't there. All in all we won't be returning to this hotelMore
Very good but some improvements required
We spent a week here from 19th September 2017. We arrived late and got to our room. No assistance to find our room offered but easily found with map. Room was very nice, fresh and cleaned everyday. Plenty choice of pool or sun bed areas. Food choice can not be faulted nor can the two options of al a carte restaurants. Entertainment team overall were good. The hotel staff are the big negative for me. Little or no communication. Blank look when asking for information it is really bad and off putting. The location itself is on a hill so no ideal for folk with walking issues. More
