That’s all thanks to the vast canyons, lakes and valleys of its mammoth national parks. Starting in California, you’ll head to see the city of Palm Springs, followed by a drive through the Coachella Valley towards Phoenix, in Arizona. That puts you in the perfect place to see the incredible Grand Canyon on day three, and the Western-style landscapes of Monument Valley on day four. The trip packs in a visit to Yosemite National Park, as well as a trip to the seaside city of Monterey for a total change of scene. Then, it’s back to the high life in Santa Barbara, LA and Santa Monica where you’ll finish your USA trip in style.
