Jambiani holidays
Jump to sections
Aquamarine ocean views, salt-white sand and fresh coconut water are just a few of the exotic ingredients Jambiani holidays are made of.
Undiscovered Zanzibar
Jambiani’s classed as a village, although it’s really a number of villages all heaped together. You’ll find this pretty-as-a-picture location on the south-west coast of Zanzibar. Head here for an off-the-beaten-track experience – the people who live here currently outnumber the tourists.
Jambiani beach
Set up camp on the beach and the only thing to disrupt your view of the turquoise water will be coconut-heavy palm trees and thatched parasols. Beach days are what this place is all about, and chatting to the friendly locals is as energetic as it gets.
Seaweed farms
Jambiani’s got an important seaweed culture – it farms a lot of this plant to be sold around the world. From the beach, you’ll get to watch as the locals pull long, green fronds from the ocean. They also pick clams that might later be served to you in one of the village’s restaurants.
