MARELLA CRUISES SUMMER 2020 PROGRAMME ON SALE EARLIER THAN EVER
- Three new port of calls in Sweden, Norway and Albania
- Six new ex UK itineraries, and two new fly cruise itineraries
- M-Club kids clubs rolling out across the fleet for summer 19
8th November 2018 – Marella Cruises has today launched its summer 2020 holidays; this is the earliest the cruise line has sold a summer programme giving customers more choice and flexibility when securing their perfect summer cruise. The UK’s third largest cruise also reveals three brand new ports of call and eight exciting new itineraries as part of their summer 2020 programme.
NEW ITINERARIES AND PORTS OF CALL
The cruise line will be offering a variety of stunning and scenic new destinations as part of its programme next summer. New ports of call include Visby, Sweden the charming UNESCO protected medieval town with its beautiful botanical gardens; Nordfjord, Norway nestled between the largest mainland glaciers in Europe with its spectacular mountains and valleys and the quaint town of Sarandé, Albania with its green olive groves, hilly landscapes and marshmallow white beaches.
As well as these exciting port of calls cruisers will have the chance to enjoy eight new itineraries next summer with six of those on the eagerly anticipated Marella Explorer 2, launching this spring. Marella Explorer 2 will offer a selection of 7 and 14 night ex UK itineraries from Newcastle and Southampton giving customers the chance to explore some incredible destinations with the extra flexibility of a no fly cruise. Marella Explorer 2’s six new itineraries include Baltic Charms, Fabulous Fjords, Legends of Fire and Ice, Magnificent Fjords, Best of the Baltics and Treasures of the Fjords visiting Nordic cool-spots such as Oslo, Norway; Reykjavik, Iceland and Gdynia (for Gdansk), Poland as well as the city of imperial splendour St Petersburg, Russia where customers can enjoy an overnight stay. Those looking to venture a little further afield can try Marella Explorers’ new Aegean Explorer itinerary visiting the likes of the enchanting meeting place of East and West, Istanbul and Kalamata, Greece with its bustling bars, culinary delights and endless beaches. Marella Discovery will also sail a new itinerary Mediterranean Secrets from Palma, Majorca calling at hotspots along the southern Med.
MCREW JOINING KIDS CLUBS ACROSS THE FLEET
Captain Mac, Miss Maintenance, Melody Mermaid and the rest of the gang from Marella Explorer will now be sailing the seas on the rest of the fleet as the cruise line rebrands the rest of its kids clubs to M Clubs’. The M Clubs will all be re-decorated with the classic M Club colours and will continue to run free sessions for 3 to 11 year olds with activities such as pyjama parties, movie nights and arts and crafts.
