The scheduled route between Cardiff Airport in South Wales and Malaga - Costa del Sol Airport takes two hours and 35 minutes. However, you may find that your pilot reaches your destination a few minutes earlier, or a few minutes later than planned. Thats because wind speed can affect flight times.
Between November and April, there is a once weekly service between Cardiff and Malaga, flying on Sunday mornings. An extra service is added between May and October to handle the extra demand during the summer. At this time of year, flights take off from Cardiff on Wednesdays and Sundays. The flight route between Cardiff and Malaga runs almost directly south, with little variation in course. Youll begin by flying over the Bristol Channel and Devon, before crossing the English Channel towards France. After flying over the tip of the Brittany region, youll cross the Bay of Biscay and continue south down through Spain. Youll fly to the west of Bilbao and Madrid before reaching Spains south coast.
