It takes two hours and 25 minutes on average to fly between Cardiff Airport in South Wales and Alicante Airport on Spains popular Costa Blanca coast. While Alicante is almost directly south of Cardiff, the flight route curves slightly to the east, travelling mostly over land. Youll cross both the Bristol Channel and the English Channel, flying just west of Guernsey and Jersey before approaching Northern France. Youll fly south east to the Spanish border, before curving slightly west to fly down past Valencia and then landing at Alicante Airport.
The months between October and February are the cheapest for flying between Cardiff and Alicante. There's high demand across May and August, but there are some excellent deals available in March and April as well as June, July, and September.
