Universal Epic Universe
Universal Epic Universe – Universal’s fourth theme park – opened in May 2025. It features five immersive worlds for you to dive into. Wander through this new park’s glowing portals and be transported to immersive worlds like How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™. There are over 50 new experiences and attractions, so expect fun features around every corner. Universal Studios Florida
Universal Studios Florida is a place where the rides transport you beyond the screen and behind the scenes. You’ll face villains you’ve only seen in films, and go on rides that allow you to feel like you’re saving the planet. You might even encounter a dragon that breathes real fire. Must-dos include The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Diagon Alley™, where you can shop for wizarding supplies before navigating the underground vaults of Gringotts™ bank. Also, Illumination’s Minions have taken over an entire street – blast your way to supervillain stardom in Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast. Plus, make sure you see The Bourne Stuntacular – a stunt show that follows Jason Bourne across three continents, using a cutting-edge combination of stagecraft and film.

Where can you take selfies with Velociraptors, and escape the jaws of a hungry T. rex? Universal Islands of Adventure is where. Journey through uniquely themed lands, where the world’s most cutting-edge rides, shows and attractions bring timeless myths, bedtime stories, and comic book capers to life right before your eyes. Join Hagrid™ on Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™ where you'll fly beyond the grounds of Hogwarts™ castle on a thrilling roller coaster ride that plunges you into the paths of some of the wizarding world's rarest magical creatures. Elsewhere, prepare to experience Jurassic World VelociCoaster.
Universal Volcano Bay
Designed like a tropical Pacific retreat, Universal Volcano Bay brings to life the tale of ancient islanders, the Waturi. This adventure-drenched water theme park is packed with rip-roaring flumes and winding rivers, around a mighty, 200-foot volcano. Inside, drop slides and racing chutes twist down to ground level, where palm trees and thatched canopies add a laid-back feel to the watery landscape. Highlights include the Krakatau Aqua Coaster and the Ko’okiri Body Plunge.
Universal Volcano Bay will begin a seasonal closure on 26 October 2026, with a current planned reopening on or before 24 March 2027.

Where is Universal Studios Florida?
Universal Orlando Resort is right in the heart of central Florida. The resort is about a 20-minute drive from Orlando International Airport and 15 minutes from downtown Orlando.
How big is Universal Orlando Resort?
Universal Orlando Resort includes four parks – Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, Universal Epic Universe, and Universal Volcano Bay water theme park. There are 11 hotels to choose from, and you can visit Universal CityWalk, too, for shopping and entertainment.
Where can I get tickets?
Book your Universal park tickets when you book your holiday. These are something you need to select in the booking process – they don’t just get added automatically. We recommend adding the Universal Orlando All Parks Ticket*, which gives you 14 consecutive days of unlimited park-to-park access, to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Volcano Bay water theme park, and Universal Epic Universe.
Universal Volcano Bay will begin a seasonal closure on 26th October 2026, with a current planned reopening date of on or before 24th March 2027. During this time, we recommend buying the Universal Orlando Three Parks Adventure Ticket*.
Is Universal Orlando Resort part of Disney?
Universal Orlando Resort is not part of Disney. While both offer theme parks and entertainment, they’re separate companies with different characters, films and attractions.
How many parks are there at Universal Orlando Resort?
There are four parks – Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Volcano Bay water theme park, and Universal Epic Universe. You can also visit Universal CityWalk, a lively entertainment hub just outside the theme parks, packed with dining, nightlife, shops and attractions.
What time of year is best to visit Universal Orlando Resort?
January, February, late August and September are ideal for visiting Universal Orlando Resort. These months tend to have lower crowd levels, shorter queue times and milder weather.
What time of day is best to visit Universal Orlando Resort?
The best time to visit Universal Orlando Resort is early morning, right when the gates open. However, if you stay at a Universal Orlando hotel, you can enter the parks up to one hour earlier than regular guests, thanks to Early Park Admission** on selected attractions when you have valid theme park admission. Plus, when you stay at a Universal Orlando hotel and have a Universal Orlando All Parks Ticket*, you can come and go as many times as you please in a day.

*Park Tickets
The Universal Orlando All Parks Ticket entitles one (1) guest admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Epic Universe, AND Universal Volcano Bay on all days during a fourteen (14) consecutive calendar day period which commences on and includes the date selected. The ticket will expire in full on the expiration date printed on ticket. Unused days shall be forfeited. The above Admission Media is non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be used by the same person on all days. Standard entry includes biometric scan. Valid only during normal operating hours. Parks, attractions, or entertainment may: close due to refurbishing, capacity, weather or special events; change operating hours; and otherwise change or be discontinued without notice and without liability to the owners of Universal Orlando Resort (‘Universal’). Unless otherwise stated, the above Admission Media specifically excludes admission to separately ticketed events and venues at any of the Universal theme parks and/or CityWalk and excludes parking or discounts on food or merchandise. Some CityWalk venues require ages 21 or older for admission. Valid Photo ID required. Additional restrictions may apply and benefits are subject to change without notice.
**Early Park Admission
Universal Orlando hotel guests must present hotel key card and valid theme park admission; all other guests must show theme park ticket stating Early Park Admission benefit. Early Park Admission begins up to one (1) hour prior to regular scheduled park opening to: (a) Universal Studios Florida and/or Universal Islands of Adventure as determined by Universal Orlando; (b) Universal Volcano Bay (weather permitting); and/or (c) Universal Epic Universe. Valid at select attractions at each park. Park-to-Park admission required to board the Hogwarts™ Express. Benefit is non-transferable. Parks, attractions, operational times, and offerings for the Early Park Admission benefit may vary and are subject to substitutions, change, availability, capacity and/or cancellation without notice, and not guaranteed.
