The Excalibur Hotel is like a big fairytale castle, with brightly-coloured turrets on the outside and a Medieval jousting show on the inside.
You can’t miss the Excalibur, with its fairytale-like turrets coloured in Pantone shades of red and blue. It’s not only its looks that will appeal to both the young and young at heart – there’s a family-friendly Medieval show, a waterslide and a massive arcade.
The Excalibur’s central location on the strip makes it a great base for exploring. With a choice of four pools, dining options to suit all moods and a selection of live shows, there are plenty of reasons to stay put, too.

Happy Wedding Day for Ty & Renee
Not much of a gambler. Was there for a VERY quick trip to witness my Brother-in-law marriage to his sweetie, Renee`. I opted to wonder around and check out the very interior shopping. 1. I found the gentleman checking us in was almost purposely trying to overcharge. He continued to speak with only one in our party so we would not confuse him. However, repeatedly telling him we only have/need/reserved 3 rooms seemed to confuse him. Finally, someone came to his rescue. 2. Rooms seemed clean, but towels really didn't. 3.The hotel tried to make it less intimidating BUT..."replacement of carpet was wearing me out". If you actually followed they taped paths... you ended up by a plant. Bright Signage or barricades would have made it better. And I was sober. 4. 3 days, one used cup remained under wrapped cup in bathroom, shampoo was non-existent and lastly signage to separate UBER PICKUP vs. cab pickup needed to be more clearly marked. My ride went exactly where he was supposed to. But, I was at an entrance that was angrily and profusely defended as a cab stand. So, I wandered around hotel having someone describe to me where I should have been until I worked my way all the way around to him. Needed EARLY coffee stand. None in site at 5am. The one I had used the mid-morning Wednesday, was still closed and completely dark. More
Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff
We stayed three nights at this hotel that is situated on the strip. The check in was fast though we had to wait in a huge queue. We got a calm room with an excellent view, perfect for us since we had traveled far and were a bit exhausted! The room was nice and the baathroom was big and clean. However the furniture was a bit old and the room seemed a bit worn. Polite staff. This is a huge hotel with thousands of guests and huge distances. You have to walk across the casino to get to the room. Not so nice if you dont like the smell of tobacco since smoking is allowed in the casino. Still, this is a great hotel if you want to stay close to the heart of the strip/Vegas at a resonable price.More
A slight disappointment
This was our second hotel in Vegas during our 10 years Anniversary holiday. I should mention that the first hotel gave us plenty of free drinks and a nicer room to celebrate the occasion, and Excalibur didn’t offer us anything special. Overall the staff seemed disinterested in their work. After check-in a staff member stopped us and asked where are we from, and after I replied she turned away without saying a word. That was odd. The pool area looks good but most of the swimming pools were closed in order to cut cost. The massive crowd was squeezing in the only pool available. And there was also an ”adult pool” but only if you pay extra. They also didn’t have enough sun deck chairs so finding a couple of free ones was a real task, unless you wanted to opt for the reserved ones near the cabanas, again for extra charge. This hotel gives you a feeling that they want to charge extra for every little thing, so we tried to stay out of the premises as much as possible. The room didn’t have a fridge or a coffee machine or even water bottles. Of course you can buy coffee from downstairs and there is also a buffet breakfast available for extra charge. On a positive note, the room was big (although a little bit outdated) and the mobile check-in worked perfectly to avoid the long queue for regular check-in. One more thing, it’s quite inconvenient that the pedestrian bridge from Excalibur to neighbouring New York New York is closed and there is no traffic light or zebra crossing for pedestrians. So to get to NYNY (or anywhere on that side of the strip), you have to cross to Tropicana, cross to MGM and then cross to NYNY. It may sound like a short trip but it’s not, because of the crowd and the afternoon heat. It would be better to stay somewhere closer to the action.More
Good value for money
Recently stayed 4 nights with my best friend. We had a fabulous time. Hotel rooms very clean, beds were extreamly comfortable. Rooms had everything you need. Plenty of eating facilities within hotel, a nice selection of shops and a very good 24 hour convenience store. Swimming pools ok, but as our visit was at the end of the season, the two larger pools had already been closed. Sunbed cushions looked like they had seen better days, stained! Could do with replacing. Spa and gym not bad, for $10 you can use the spa for 24hrs, robe, sandles and locker provided, fresh fruit, water and juice. Only disappointment was the steam room wasn’t working. Overall a pretty hotel for the price, plus very unique. At the end of the day you get what you pay for, if you want luxury go to the Mandalay Bay.More
Just spent a week in Las Vegas staying in the Excalaber hotel. We were in the royal tower comfortable beds clean room huge bathroom. It was cleaned each day. Loved the location and the tram and walkways to the Mandalay Bay and the Luxor. Food court was nice and clean. Loved walking down the strip lots to see and do each day. Will be back in 2018. More
