Our Boeing 737 MAX fleet took to the skies again in summer 2021, following the international re-certification of the aircraft at the beginning of that year. TUI Airways operates the 737 MAX on short and mid-haul routes, and you can expect the same top-notch customer experience you’d find on any of our flights.

A modern flying experience

• The 737 MAX is the newest model of the Boeing 737, which has long been one of the world’s most popular aircraft.

• The aircraft delivers a great experience inside the cabin, with USB outlets at every seat and more space for both passengers and crew.

• There’s extra room for cabin bags, with larger pivoting overhead storage bins replacing the standard overhead lockers.

Better for the environment

• Each Boeing 737 MAX is more fuel efficient – it uses 16% less fuel and it can fly 19% further than its previous models. This goes a long way in helping us do our part to help look after the planet.

A quieter flight

• You’ll experience a quieter flight thanks to the aircraft’s reduction in noise pollution.

We have 21 MAX aircraft in our fleet flown by around 300 specially trained pilots. Our MAX fleet flies from London Gatwick, East Midlands, Cardiff, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, and Bristol.
