Heritable Ahungalla is a must visit in Sri Lanka. We had an amazing stay from check in (Miss Thirindi - efficient, pleasant and professional ) to check out. The hotel design (Bawa) fits the environment perfectly but the staff are the ones who made our stay amazing! Make sure you try the great seafood prepared by Chef Chandanna and his team. Also, Duminda (restaurant manager) gave us excellent service and recommendations- most senior staff have foreign experience so understand what world class service and food is! All staff are humble, professional and efficient .... great culture! P.s - if you feel like some fun activities ask for Raju - tennis, table tennis, badminton, pool - he can do it all and is very helpful!

Great property and a must stay for people looking for access to the beach

The property is located right in front of the beach and the beach is barely 20 steps from the reception. We reached the hotel at around sunset. We skipped all formalities and ran to the beach because the view was simply splendid. The staff is very hospitable and accommodating. The chef at the restaurant made us Indian food at our request although the buffet menu did not have it. A special hat tip to Rukmal from housekeeping who did up our room beautifully when we were away - with flower petals strewn around and towel swans.

Friendly staff.tasty food with good spread in lunch & dinner.special thx to the staff as we were upgraded to a luxury room. It would be better if the hotel staff can cosider to improve breakfast spread & keeping life guard in pool area.

The hotel lobby, pool and facilities are large and nice. The beach is good but not suitable for swimming. Rooms are clean. WiFi service is free and of good quality. The location is near to many attractions.
