I've read a news report of having to prove on arrival to Spanish Authorities that I have sufficient funds for my holiday in Spain - is this correct and what do I need?
The FCDO travel advice for Spain advise that you may need to provide additional information on arrival such as proof of your return flight and accommodation in Spain. If you’re asked for this on arrival you can show them your booking confirmation – although we’re not aware of this being a standard practice for Spanish immigration, it’s good to have your details to hand. We recommend you sign up for travel advice updates for Spain for the very latest information.
