Yearly holiday to this heaven
As always we love coming back every yr, 10yrs now. Unfortunately because of media interference with holiday excursions, this place has suffered a little, only because tourists have been staying away. Never has there been any trouble here and never will there ever be, and I think it pathetic that holiday makers let these things persuade thoughts in heads. Back to the hotel though, food as always is superb and if there isn't something of your liking, you can ask and it will be sorted for you. Shame to say that the al'acarte menu has been shortened but the food is still A1. The hangout is what it is, a hangout for relaxing and enjoying the tranquillity of the area. Food here is first class and service is outstanding at its best. Well done all the staff and managers. Over the yrs here the entertainment hasn't changed much, I've been told why but personally think the hotel needs to kickstart again and listen to the clientele for advice, having said that you cannot blame the entertainment team for this. I've seen many changes here over the years and hopefully it will continue as improvements are needed in pool areas and sunbed areas, and introduce theme nights around poolbar, i.e. barbeque nights etc. I've listened to many who go there and many have suggested ideas that they've experienced at other holiday venues only because most love this place and come back year after year. To everyone working at Belcekiz Beach Hotel, I thank you for everything you all do, reception, chef's, manager's, bar staff, cleaners, just everyone of you guy's always. Thankyou all. Karen and Steve. See you all next year 2018 x More
Would love to return
We stayed for a week in October and it was a lovely holiday. When we were shown our room my heart sunk a little as the rooms are in need of a makeover and the balconies are small. However that would be my only negative comment. When talking to other guests at the bar (amazing sunsets from the bar) most people where returning year on year and at first I didn’t quite get it but after staying here I do get it! The staff are AMAZING! The entertainment team made us feel so welcome particularly Bella and Air and they laid on plenty of activities for us to participate in. I even sung karaoke on stage with Bella which for people who know me know is something I don’t do, where she is so lovely and bubbly you can’t help but join in. The pool bar staff also deserve a mention as they are very attentive. The location is great, right on the sea front. The food was nice, always found something I liked and I’m a fussy eater. Overall a lovely hotel and I would love to come back for a family holiday.More
Wonderful Staff and lovely hotel
We stayed here for a week - last one before it closed. The service was wonderful and although the hotel was closing down for the season and it did not have a lot of guests - the staff were lovely. We read the other reviews prior to going - our expectations were spot on. This was our first time to Turkey and we did not know that some hotels closed, in Oludeniz most of the hotels and shops were gearing up to closing down. if you are a shopper then this is the best time to get your 'genuine fake' bargains. Back to the hotel. Our room was okay, the downside being it stank of cigarette smoke - we were in 240 in the main part. We had taken mosquito repellents / air freshener things and these helped in reducing the smell. The room overlooked the gardens and a side view of the pool. The room was a similar size to a double at a 'Premier Inn', tea and coffee facilities, which are refilled most days (if the maid remembers), together with bottled water. The soda and fruit juice are only provided on your first day. Plenty of cupboard space and small wardrobe with drawers and safe. We noted the regular visitors to the hotel were given a box of milk - and staff were very attentive. We found it just as easy to fill a glass or cup of milk from the Pool bar on an evening on our way back to the room. Coffeemate is provided in the room. Typical English tourists queuing to put towels on the sunbeds - glad the hotel was not full otherwise there would not have been any sunbeds. Some also thought they owned the hotel and had there own seating areas. The hotel has a patch of beach with sunbeds and parasols that can be used for free - we did this for a couple of days, note the beach is pebbles and sand. With a stretch of pebbles to cross to get to the sea and then a steep bank as you go in and more pebbles. We did get in and out with a lot of falling over - would recommend wearing sea shoes. The hotel also have 'Sugar Beach' hope I have got that right. This is their own spot on the Blue Lagoon, and there is a free shuttle bus service from the hotel. Sadly, this had closed when we were there, but Billies Beach was open and we had some time there - you have to pay for the sunbed and parasol, Billies also has a free bus service to and from, with 'tips' to the driver. The drinks here are a bit more expensive. Blue lagoon was fabulous, you can just walk straight into the sea no pebbles or sinking feet. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a meal at the Hang out bar - the food was lovely and we enjoyed every course, only comment would be that it could have been hotter, and we were lucky enough to get the last bottle of sparkling wine. The service was not as great and I think this was new young staff who were learning the ropes. Food at the Belcekiz was good, always something to have - if not too much choice. The Chefs were fabulous and cooked fresh dishes, you could choose your ingredients for stir fries and on speciality nights. Cannot understand the people who fill their plates and then leave it, there was a lot of waste. We would go again, the area is lovely to explore and lots of walking. It would be great to see the area at a different time of year. Everyone we met was very friendly and happy to help. Other guests we chatted to said this was their best holiday ever and they always came back and there was no comparison. We thought it depended on what you were comparing it to and what other holidays you had been on - The Staff had their end of season party and all the hotel guests were welcomed, this was fun and lovely to see the Hotel management giving something back - it was a great night. We did have a taxi from the airport direct to the hotel and this took around one hour each way.More
Got ill from air con in Room
Stayed at this hotel in June 2016 and enjoyed it so booked again for June 2017. Requested annex room via Thomson booking. On arrival we were allocated a poolside room. We complained at reception and received an annex room. The air-con in this room gave me a throat infection due to being unclean. I complained to the Thomson rep who wasn't interested and told us to speak to the reception. An engineer came to look at the air-con and it was no different when he left. After another night of dirty air being blown around our room we complained again. The engineer attended a second time with a pink bottle of disinfectant. By that time I had a throat infection. Seen by hotel doctor. £100 later had lost my voice and couldn’t eat or drink for 2 days. Like pulling teeth with hotel and travel rep. Complained on a daily basis. Won’t be going back. Have booked another hotel and resort for next year.More

"Our very own paradise"
My daughter and I stayed here in October 2017 for 2 weeks. What can I say, the location is absolute perfection, overlooking the beach within 3 minutes stroll of shops, restaurants etc. Undoubtedly, it is the staff that make this such a wonderful place to holiday. We greeted by the lovely entertainment team, consisting of the wonderful Bella (Beyza) and Can with Air in charge of course!! The restaurant and bar staff were equally as attentive, especially our wonderful waiters, Alil, Hussain, Cem and Ferdi. Whilst laying by the pool, the cheeky bar staff will happily bring you much needed refreshments. The food is first class, I defy anyone not to find something to demolish and then return 2 or 3 times more!!More
