Parque San Antonio Hotel

Just returned from a weeks holiday to this hotel was given a room first floor opened back door to extreme noise from the busy road about 30 feet from our door got no sleep no privacy one plastic table and one chair even though there was two of us people walking constantly by us asked to change rooms where the famous word “NOT POSSIBLE “ supposed to have air con but just blowing air couldn’t keep window open due to traffic noise couldn’t keep door open as people walking by and looking in. If you are German then it’s totally different can’t do enough for them. The staff don’t talk English the food not good at all they cook the meat while you wait but very chewy not a 4**** at all basic food would definatley not go back to this hotel staff not pleasant at all a terrible weeks holiday but Tenerife is beautiful

We’ve stayed here for a week. We are an out an about on excursions type of holidaymakers so I can’t comment on the pool or lunch as I’ve not used them, but the pool does appear to be very clean. The rooms are nice and spacious and are very clean. I’m on holiday with my husband and daughter and we have 1 room that’s divided nicely so my daughter has some privacy. The food is average. Lots of fish (I don’t each fish) but that’s not the fault of the hotel but the choices are a little repetitive. Same pasta dishes every night, same salad bar etc. We are staying here half board and I’m very glad we didn’t go all inclusive because getting a drink at dinner is like trying to get blood out of a stone. 1 night We were finished eating before we were offered a drink and another night we didn’t get a drink at all. The only way to get a drink at dinner is to make sure Danny is waiting on your table. He is extremely attentive and couldn’t praise him enough. The rest of the waiting staff may as well have just stayed at home for all the good they do. This is isn’t the fault of the hotel but I’ve found the other guests judgemental and snobby. My daughter selected some things from the dinner buffet, she is a fussy eater but did try some new thing but she didn’t like them. 2 other guests were pointing and commenting on the fact she’s left them and made her feel very uncomfortable about getting up for a pudding. Not the kind of atmosphere you want on holiday. All In all the hotel is ok. It’s not terrible but it’s not exceptional either.

we enjoyed our stay the only problem we had was the room window and door the window did not open and the door was hard the bed was very comfy they did say we could change rooms on the tue arrived late sunday but we just stayed ,the staff worked very hard food very good .there was only a few English here manly German and French it is a couple of miles out of town but Taxis 4 euros plenty available free bus outside or nice walk down through the park . Zoo fantastic great day out ,
