Very good hotel, sounds like i am old but, the "adult only" is perfect. Very good food and the hotel staff is very friendly. This hotel lies in a quiet part, nearby Palma. In case you need a Taxi, they will be in about 2 minutes at the hotel.
Bad hotel, it got 2 stars only because the food is delicious

Returned to this hotel for our honeymoon and ended up regretting it big time. Short-story: mattresses are run down and beaten up, 2/3 of the receptionists have an attitude, hotel is showing age and needs renovation and better cleaning, but food is incredible Long story: we stayed here in Oct 2017 for 6 days and while we had some problems with the beds then, they quickly fixed it as the hotel was in off season this time, the hotel was fully packed. lets start with the beginning: we payed quite a lot for a 9 days with see view. we discovered that partially seeing the sea and staring at the roof of the building next door and at the fire escape counts as see view. that was not a problem as we were mostly hiking so we needed good food and decent bed. the food, was as we remembered, one of the best in a hotel. top notch, varied every day and cooked to perfection. the cooks were were really friendly and dedicated as was the restaurant staff. the problems were the beds. one of the mattresses really needed to be replaced. as soon as you sat on it, your ass would hit the bed frame. the mattress was sinking in the center completely and trying to sleep on the sides would result in you rolling back in the middle. your ass and back would just sit on the frame of the bed. I went down to the reception and complained, and they said they are fully booked, that they can give me some blankets to put under (like the blankets would become soft and spongy) and promised they would solve it the next day. SLEPT A HORRIBLE NIGHT. next morning asked again for a fix, and went onto enjoying the island. As I was hiking, i returned int he evening to discover that noting changed. Either they've only flipped the mattress (like that would magically fix it) or they found another bad mattress in the hotel for me. Annoyed got back to the same receptionist as before. He was apologetic and tried to find a solution. he was a bit ashamed and promised to try again and fix it. SLEPT AGAIN A HORRIBLE NIGHT. at this point my back was hurting and i could not get any rest. next morning went again to reception. Martha (the head receptionist) was a bit annoyed by me, as they already flipped the mattress (or brought a new one) and I'm still unhappy. I told her that offering a bad service as a replacement of a bad service doesn't help. she said that after 11 they will replace my mattress again. As I wasn't going to wait until after 11 I left again, only to come back in the evening to discover that this time, I had a different (but also horrible), shorter mattress. so now, 3 nights into my honeymoon and I already knew I was not going to get a decent sleep. went back to the receptionist. He again apologized and was amazed by the horrible service I was getting. he apologized again, he said everything was fully booked and could not help me in any way. ANOTHER HORRIBLE NIGHT SPENT ON A BAD MATTRESS. next morning I was furious. I went down and asked to speak with the manager. At this point I was told there was no manager for the hotel, and the guy at the reception told me to write an complaint email to the reception or to speak the the head receptionist. I was furious, I told him I needed to sleep. my back hurt and I just wanted to go home. I paid a full month salary for a holiday and could not enjoy it. I just wanted to go home. I told him this is impossible and just wanted to know whom I could contact. I stay at least 20-30 nights per year in a hotel fro work and this was the first time in my life I have seen a hotel without a manager. He insisted there is none. he said they will change the mattress again, and insinuated I was too unhappy with their awesome conditions. returned in the night, and guess what. the same short mattress was there. nothing changed. went back to the reception. the night shift guy apologized again. at this point I called my travel agent to change the hotel or solve this. unfortunately it was already Friday night. my foolishness in believing them for so long resulted in me having to sleep also on the weekend in this hotel. AGAIN, I SLEPT A HORRIBLE NIGHT, on the same mattress as my wife (the better mattress of the two). in the morning, i found the cleaning staff, and they actually apologized, and said that they couldn't find any better mattresses and that I should sleep with the manager who was in his office. I stormed there and demanded to speak with him. He apologized and helped me find a half decent mattress. ALL OF THE MATTRESSES ARE PAST THEIR BEST BEFORE DATE, some are just in better shape than others. at this point, he only apologized and made me feel better but he never took the measures to see why I was given attitude by the reception or why I was lied to the day before. I truly think he was upset about that, but in the end, I paid a salary to try to enjoy my honeymoon and recharge after a lot of hard work, and could not do this. I paid a lot of money and could not enjoy my holiday because they postpone maintenance and investment in the hotel. I did not enjoy my holiday and was given a lot of attitude for no reason. the food was really good. some of the best food I ever had in a hotel. but without proper beds and investment in the hotel, this would not cut it. some of the rooms have bad sound proofing so you hear the planes louder than other rooms. there are stains in the bathroom and age can be seen everywhere. I was really disappointed and would not return to the hotel again. I will just not give them the chance to take me for a sucker on my hard earned money. maybe some people were lucky and got good beds from the beginning. maybe they are not as pretentious when it comes up to beds. but for me this was disappointing and ruined our honeymoon. we were incredibly happy to leave.

Hotel is decently acceptable but all of the staff is not willing to truly go an extra "inch" to help guests. They pretend to be nice but it is obvious they hate their job. I will not be staying nor recommending this hotel to anyone.

I’ve stayed here quite a few times when it was the Marina Luz and the last was 2016 but having tried it again under a new name, I felt it had declined. The food was still good but the room condition was poor, the reception staff were not that friendly and the cleaning was also poor. It was the little things such as coffee, tea-bags, lack of a spoon, damaged furniture and stained bath that all contributed to this negative review.
An excellent hotel

A great short break at a smart hotel. Excellent staff and very good food. Rooms are clean and modern with all you need. It is a 90 minute walk to Palma, 30 min by bike and local bus is about the same.
