Alua Soul Palma

Just returned after our 10th visit. Negatives first, OK rooms are a little tired and small. Bathroom again similar. Shower curtain needs attention. Choice and quality of evening meal has slipped a little. Decking around pool needs changing. Loungers not very comfortable. Positives, Spotlessly clean. Breakfast excellent. Staff are excellent, reception staff are very helpful and attentive. Lounge and dining room I think are excellent. Being disabled, could do with some rooms having a walk in shower. Location is perfect, particularly the sea view rooms. Rooms and Bathroom are perfectly adequate. Overall the hotel is excellent.

Struggle to fault the actual hotel, service, food room excellent. Great access to other outside facilities. Overlooks the med which is a a great feature. The draw back is on one side of the hotel is the floor get path and if they take of on your side it’s noising until about midnight, this happened to us one night out of the seven. As they landed our way for six nights the planes are obviously quieter and did not impact on us. But once again hotel is great.

The hotel is very well positioned with great views of the bay and handy for bars and restaurants in Can Pastilla. We found the hotel to be spotless at all times and the service from the staff was first class and always with a smile. The views from our room were fantastic and I would recommend a high room to get the full benefits. The food was also great with a fantastic selection on offer for both breakfast and evening meal. I was unfortunate to have a serious cycling accident whilst staying at the hotel and spent three days in hospital in Palma. and must stress the importance of wearing a helmet if you are considering cycling as I reckon my helmet possibly save my life. The staff at the hotel couldn't do enough for us and offered assistance without having to ask. We will definitely be returning and I can recommend this hotel to others without hesitation.
Great hotel - great breakfast.

We only stayed one night here. We got in late (after 11:00 PM) on a Saturday night, and left by 11:00 am Sunday morning, so we have a somewhat limited experience with them. The room was a good size (Double/Twin Side Sea View). Plenty of room to get around, and a nice patio to sit on and watch the planes coming into the airport which is nearby. There was no problem with noise from the jets at all inside the unit. The jets seem to come non-stop all night long. We basically sat on the patio with a bottle of wine until the early hours. Unfortunately, I didn’t get any photos of the room. It was clean and we had no problems with it. It has plenty of electrical outlets for charging things. The real star though was the breakfast. Now, as I mentioned, we were only there for breakfast on a Sunday morning, so what we experienced *may* only be a Sunday morning brunch thing, but I don’t know. As we entered the dining area, which is quite large with many tables, we were greeted with champagne (probably only on Sunday’s?). There are also a number of tables outside on the patio which was quite nice to sit in. They have everything you could ask for in regards to food. Really nice buffet. I won’t bother telling you about it. You can just look at the photos! One thing that I did not get a photo of was the automated espresso/coffee machine, of which they had two. They are the type that have buttons for different drinks (espresso, cappuccino, latte, etc). You put your cup under the value, press a button, and in about 20 seconds your drink is dispensed into your cup. No extra charge for anything at the breakfast. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay! But again, you need to check if that is the daily breakfast or only for Sunday Brunch!
A clean adults only hotel positioned out of the main resort

We visit canpastilla every year and have stayed at a few different hotels. We enjoyed the walking to and from the main resort, especially after a big Tapas meal..we wouldn’t recommend the hotel if you have an issue walking and want to eat in the main resort as the walk is around 0.8 miles, this is also the location of the beach. The room we had was spacious with a sea view, although it did look out in to other apartments. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant, which offered everything you would expect. The staff were friendly and at the end of our holiday managed to locate a room that we paid 50 Euro for and kept until 7pm even though the hotel was full. The great part is that the resort is only 10 mins in Taxi from airport, which costs around 15 euros. The pool was refreshing and the jacuzzi was a good temperature, we will return next year for another 4 night break.
