Grupotel Ibiza Beach Resort

Hotel in quiet location Stayed in a junior apartment room in block 452 - 459.. Spacious room there was a electric hob, a microwave and a fridge. No pans if you wanted to cook anything Nice large shower Comfortable seating area. Television mainly German and Spanish channels. Nice size pools, I think had the weather been hotter there may not have been enough sun beds. Bar service was okay. We were told on checking in that we would be swopped to a sea view junior room a few days later and were never advised by reception when that would take place. So we stayed in block 452 - 459. Food in the restaurant was never piping hot even after the restaurant had just opened. 10 minute walk to beach, nice wooden walkway and a couple of bars on the other side from Sensimar Ibiza Beach Resort..

I have to give my holiday 5 stars... A great hotel with excellent food, lovely kind staff and so quiet.  Was exactly what I needed and wanted. Fab room clean and well equipped.  The Spa was very relaxing as was the massage!   Yes there are some small annoyances (activities and their daft music spoiling the peace!) but none that meant any less than a fantastic time for me.  Special mentions to Nancy for being so lovely at the pool bar; Irene and Giedre in the restaurant and Luis in the Lobby Bar.  They all took time to remember me and chat, which when you travel alone means masses.  I would come back to stay in a heart beat.

I can only imagine that half term offers a very different experience to the height of Summer - this is worth remembering if you are looking at booking. October was warm, sunbathing in 24 degrees is no hardship! Cardigans required for the evenings however as the temperature drops a little - still sitting outside weather but a light covering is required. This was then last week of the season so the Hotel was probably 5% full if that. The knock on effect for this is that most of the temptations have been removed but I guess the price is cheaper to reflect this. One restaurant was open 3 times per day, limited menu on offer but enough to fill your belly. One bar was open so the trek across the road no doubt ensured we drank less! No snacks/patisserie corner on offer but again is that a necessity or an indulgence? Staff are amazing, overworked yet still smiling no matter what the hour. They are attentive and friendly and definitely make the stay more appealing. I enjoyed my stay but do feel that we were not forewarned of the limited luxuries on offer, having done Sensimar previously my expectations weren’t quite reached and I think people should be forewarned.. Hotel is well maintained, clean and the rooms are very nice - no complaints there. All in all I had a good time so can only imagine it must be buzzing in Summer 😎
