    These family-friendly apartments are in a prime location, with restaurants and a sandy beach close by and Salou in easy reach.

    The SunClub is in a sleepy part of Cap Salou. The beach is a couple of minutes’ walk away, there’s a handful of restaurants close by, and the centre of Salou is 10 minutes’ bus ride away.

    Apartments come with kitchenettes, dining areas, and balconies – some of which have sea views. Elsewhere, you’ll find a pool, a children’s splash park, and a restaurant with an al fresco terrace.

    Just so you know this hotel does not accept stag or hen parties.

    We stayed here October half term and was pleasantly surprised with how lovely the hotel is for a 3+ rating. We upgraded to a sea view room which was well worth it as it can get noisy in the rooms closer to the entertainment. The view was incredible. We found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful especially Sammie on reception, she really couldn’t do enough to help. The only downfall to the hotel was the Jet2 representative. We found him very rude and completely unhelpful. Hopefully there will be a different one next year. Cap Salou itself was all closed up apart from The Tropical restaurant which was lovely. We got a T10 bus card from reception which is a fantastic way to save money on bus travel. Salou is 5 minutes away, Portaventura about 10 and Tarragona about 15, all definitely worth a visit. I personally feel this is a 4* star hotel with a low price tag. Look forward to returning next year.

    Lovely hotel, really clean and tidy. We stayed in an upgraded room (although we didnt have to pay extra) Drinks were cheap enough. The resort was closing down so there was limited options as were to eat. The hotel pool was really cold as the sun doesnt reach it until around 2pm. Would return

    Arrived on 19th Oct for the week. I had read the reviews and thought well it can’t be that bad, but yes it was. Noise every night until the early hours, children running riot, walls so thin you can hear the neighbours. Adults so loud and lots of door slamming. When the receptionist said how was your stay and I said “noisy” she just shrugged her shoulders. Pool was too cold to go in. Buses were good and frequent. We wouldn’t ever go back and wouldn’t recommend, unless you like noise and disturbed sleep.

    Defo pros and cons of the hotel/apartment. Lovely sea views from the 2 bedroom apartment. Bar food is ok for snacks. Didn’t eat in the main restaurant. Located a €8 taxi trip from the main town. Pool is very very cold. Paid for all inclusive drinks which is €15 for adults and €10 for children which you have to pay for the whole party. Worth doing apart from on our last day it stopped at 1pm which basically cost €40 for nothing as we didn’t get to use it. There are no safety latches on the windows. We were on the 4th floor and was very worrying our little one could open the window with no problems. Good views and supermarket on site. Staff friendly and helpful.
    Ok for a quick week

    Quick transfer times , quick check in .we were on the 3rd floor rooms are very clean and cleaned daily except sundays. Large balconies, we were facing a really noisy hotel music on till late and very rowdy drunk people shouting.breakfast in the hotel was great proper bacon and lots choice. The pool could do with a few penguins to go with the baltic temperatures of the water. Seriously that pool needs heating! The rooms are paper thin and its not nice to hear adults f ing at their own kids at midnight .this seemes to be the norm around this hotel for this reason i wouldnt return .not the hotels fault but not relaxing or nice to hear. Buses were great to salou and portaventura where we spent most of our time. Not many hotels or shops open round the hotel so limited to buy things. A week has been long enough for us here. We have had a nice time but wouldnt return .
