TUI BLUE Matta Village

Stayed for 1 week. 12/10/19 Fully inclusive. Me and my husband. Good weather. Couple of overcast afternoons. Remote location. Not walking distance of anywhere. We didn’t mind but others might. Hired a car €100 for the day. Went to north of island. Not much open. End of season. Not worth the effort. Matta Village lovely. 4*+. Staff friendly and attentive. Few nights entertainment. Very good. Lovely pool but very cold. Not heated. Clean. I did swim. Food. Good selection if a little bit bland. Cocktails and drinks plentiful Rooms. Air conditioned and comfortable. Our room too far from reception so no internet. They offered to move us but we were already unpacked. Beach potentially lovely but seaweed not cleared away probably so the hotel doesn’t loose the sand. Improvement needed here. Lovely time had. Ideal for a week but not 2 weeks. Tui sensimar. Like minded couples. We may return

We booked very last minute so the build up to the holiday was short but sweet. The airport check-in was automated and very quick. The flight was around 2 hours. The coach transfer 40 mins. On arrival we were asked to leave our cases on the bus and the porters took them to our rooms while we enjoyed a welcome drink and lunch. We then checked in so no rush or queues. The room was clean with dressing gowns and slippers to use. The complex was outstanding and the staff very friendly. It is an all inclusive, adults only resort so extremely peaceful and great for R and R. The hotel is set amongst pine forests and the beach beyond had white course sand. The type that doesn’t stick to you. Plenty of sun beds, bean bags, swinging beds around the beach area and sufficient sun beds around the pool. Because it is secluded there was no need to wear the annoying armbands. The food was well presented with plenty of variety. Drink choices also good on the all inclusive deal but you could also buy different drinks. The staff always ensured you were well catered for. When the holiday was over all the other guests were also sad to leave. The staff waved us off which was a thoughtful end to a lovely holiday. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return for a relaxing time in the future. Well done and thank you to all the staff at Matta Village.

We visited here through Tui and cannot fault in any way. The setting was stunning, staff more than happy to help, Facilities perfect for the size of hotel. A truly relaxed chilled out week. We will be returning next year without doubt. I won’t end on a negative, just for information if you want to do any of the Tui trips you need to be quick, we tried to book, told it was fully booked.
